Nice hotel, very kookie. The bar on the top floor is very nice and the bartenders are wonderful. Make sure you check the city tax before leaving the desk at check in. I paid the city tax at check in and then at checkout they wanted to charge me extra because apparently I was charged the wrong amount. I was there for four nights and spoke to reception multiple times and no one mentioned the outstanding fees. Apart from that it’s a good hotel.

Great place, metro station within walking distance. Good place to stay. Too room has some stunning views

Room was lovely & clean. Great amount of cupboard space. However staff are not very personable or caring. They are efficient and clinical. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. We told the front desk. He said “congratulations” in a monotone voice without looking up from his screen. Breakfast was a beautiful buffet torturous for me as a coeliac. Nothing was marked. Staff at reception said they gluten free bread not to worry and accommodate well. However- I had to ask three times at breakfast - the MD greeted us & told me to go tell staff in the Buffett area (usually the MD sorts everything for the guest so you don’t suffer the humiliation of looking for someone and explaining your health issues in the middle of a busy breakfast area. So I went - first girl didn’t understand me. I found another person. She went and got a very unfriendly cook. She told me I could have hard boiled eggs and cheese and meats. No cereals, no waffles. No yogurt as they all had granola on them. Any heated items including scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms and chicken sausages were not safe due to cross contamination. Then they got me their version of gluten free bread. White, in a plastic bag, microwaved so it was wet and soggy. I wouldn’t give it to my dog. I told someone sorry, it is not nice at all. They didn’t comment or care. I brought my own break after that. I paid a lot of money for a hard boiled eggs that were grey inside they were so overdone, some cheese and cucumbers and tomatoes.

Some amazing rooms with panoramic rooms , clean hotel friendly staff. Only issue I found was in the premium room on the 18th floor I stayed in , every morning people opening the doors for the communal seating on the balcony would make a huge banging noise is the room. Other then that the hotel was 10/10

Excellent throughout - food, ambience, views, in hotel F&B, good gym and particularly the ever so helpful and lovely staff. The beds are super comfy and the rooms well appointed. Great location for the metro and train to / from Schiphol airport. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Modern, clean and functional Hotel in a great location. Easy 5 minute metro into Central Station Amsterdam. The room was comfortable and the service was friendly and efficient. Will stay again.

This hotel is a quirky hidden gem!! The staff were brilliant very helpful and lovely. Rooms are lovely and clean and it's really close to the metro station to get into central Amsterdam. We will be returning.
