The front desk staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I stayed in a suite the first two nights of my stay and moved to a “regular” room for the third. That was by choice, not for any other reason. When i arrived i able to check in early which was nice after a long flight. Bed was comfy and clean as was all of the furniture. The suite even had an awesome Bose sound system that I used often. The only thing the room lacked was a view as the building across the street made me feel like I was in a fish bowl a few times. Had to be a little careful being nekked. Not a big deal. One of the reasons I chose to move on my third night was to have a city view, which was nice from the 10th floor. Rambling a bit so i’ll bullet point the rest. - i was able to check into my 2nd room early as well which made my move super easy - i called the front desk to ask where I could get some ice and they delivered it to my room which was a pleasant surprise - i ordered UberEats which was ridiculously late but Ruth called the restaurant for me and called my room several times when the fold arrived. I had gone for a walk to see if I could eat somewhere else if my food never showed up - the candy containers by the front desk were great esp after visiting a local coffee shop - Amsterdam is very expensive but compared to some of the other hotels, this place was great value comparatively - Ruth is the only name I remember but the entire front desk staff was incredible

Very disappointing experience. The power in my room went out around midnight and despite several calls to the front desk, I was told nothing could be done. My room was completely dark and I couldn't charge my phone or laptop. I had an important meeting in the morning, and the issue wasn't fixed until around 7:00 AM. The power then went out again, and when I called for assistance, the staff seemed annoyed and spoke to me as if I was responsible for the problem. Technical issues can happen, but the poor communication and unhelpful attitude made the experience much worse.

The property is very nice and in a great location! Check in was a nightmare!! Extremely slow and do not even think you would be able to check in early!! Our room was not ready so she said she would text us to let us know when the room was ready! Never received any type of notice! We were sitting in the lobby and noticed other people checking in and going to their rooms. We asked again if our room was ready. It was now well after check in time! With no apologies she handed us the key card. So nice property, no customer service or helpful staff! Would suggest to find another great location with a little customer service!

Easy walk from the central train station. The check in was easy and the room spacious and clean. We loved the rain shower with the handheld option. Only negative was the BRIGHT light from the thermostat that lit up the room like a spotlight. Easy enough to cover it if you’re bothered.

The room itself was extremely large and spacious which I can appreciate being in Europe and Amsterdam. The hotel itself isn’t the most convenient to get to and a bit of a pain to walk to anywhere. The room was tidy but didn’t come across as thoroughly cleaned. The rug definitely needed to be replaced. The accent chair in the room was filthy. It has grooves in it that make it challenging to clean but it’s not comforting to look at or even want to sit on. There is an unlikely chance I would stay here again.
