ibis Styles Edinburgh St Andrew Square

I love staying in Ibis Style St Andrew Square. The room is comfort. The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast is sufficient. The location is good, about 10 minutes walk from Edinburg Waverley Station and only few minues walk to Edinburg Bus Station. The hotel is also quite close to Princess Street.

We booked for our Silver Wedding Anniversary and were given a really nice room with double view over looking the square . The team congratulated as and wrote a very nice welcome message as they knew this stay was special . This hotel is my go to hotel in Edinburgh for last couple of years . Usman , Zsanett and all of the team are welcoming and very professional . Their welcoming manner is consistent with all their guests and nothing is too much trouble . Shahed in the bars service last night was amazing and food was delicious. The self service breakfast in morning which is complimentary has a vast choice of food and drink , really great for setting you up for a day of exploring the city . It’s great for transport links being near railway and a car park near , as hotel guests we got 40% discount on parking , which made it very affordable for our two night stay . The hotel rooms are well appointed and really lean also very sound proof . One thing i’ve noticed on my stays in this hotel is the consistency of staff it seems to be a small team of staff focused on providing high level of service to guests . I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a city break to Edinburgh . You can leave bags in early and our room was actually ready when we arrived at 12 , 3 hrs before checkin time . They will retain cases after checkout at 12 if you have more exploring / business that day . Thank you so much Usman , Zsanett and all the team for making our anniversary special . We will be back

All your staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was everything we expected. The evening menu could have been expanded. We booked evening meal for 2 evenings. The first night the food was presented nicely,unfortunately the second evening the presentation was lacking. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return

Breakfast was amazing and the staff was always welcoming and so helpful. Room was always clean and kept up everyday. We had an amazing stay and will be staying here the next time we visit Scotland.
