Hotel is very nice , room size , shower etc was perfect, Breakfast does not have traditional full English style or pancakes so my grandson wasn’t able to have the breakfast Staff are friendly, polite and helpful and whatever you ask for they help without hesitation I had a comfortable stay and would return, hotel is in a fantastic spot, close to all buses and tram , restaurants, shops etc

Small room, but adequate. Breakfast buffet good selection of foods, quality was ok.

Warm breakfast food not maintained at a hot temperature and left out for longer than 2 hours, scrambled eggs and haggis luke warm and I was ill within an hour of breakfast, ruined the mini break as I ill that entire day being our only full day. When first we went out to get breakfast we had to return to our room and wait till later, there were plenty of emply tables but no one was clearing the dirty plates so no where to sit, people wandering around plates in hand trying to find a clean table. I personally will not be back.

We arrived early on May 11, and with our ibis Styles Edinburgh St Andrew Square stay conveniently located near St Andrew Square, we needed to head straight to the Royal Mile for our Edinburgh Castle tour. Thankfully, Tatiana kindly took care of our luggage until it was time for check-in, allowing us to begin exploring stress-free. The breakfast buffet was superb — a wonderful way to start each day in Scotland. And despite being right in the heart of St Andrew Square, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to rest after long days of walking through beautiful Edinburgh.

Staff not helpful with correcting booking.

Good location but not the city center which is about a 7 minute walk. The decor is modern which is not our preference. But… everything else was perfect. I rarely give anything 5 stars but this hotel deserves it. Would definitely come back.

For the price we paid we were disappointed. Bathroom has only one small hook for towels so after having a shower we had nowhere to hang the towels. Bathroom sink is large but there's no counter/shelf to put a toiletry bag. There is a kettle in the room but the only available plug was across the room so kettle had to be put on a floor, not very higenic. Location of the hotel is very convenient but for over 600 CAD a night we expected better.

Very accommodating for travelers coming from the states that arrive early in the morning. Clean room, albeit small. The two twin beds needed to be shoved together to get into them. Nice breakfast layout. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast was excellent, in fact all of the food and drinks at the restaurant were excellent. The room was modern, clean, well organized and comfortable. The hotel public spaces were beautiful and well layed out.

It was a great place to stay. Convenient to the area, but not right in the hub of activity. Not a lot of noise in the rom.

Loved our room and the extra pillows that I requested. Breakfast had wonderful coffee options and such a variety of items to choose from. My only suggestion would be to provide more surface space in the tiny bathroom. Also, there was a live musician the evening we were there in the lobby/ lounge area- such an unexpected treat!

We booked for our Silver Wedding Anniversary and were given a really nice room with double view over looking the square . The team congratulated as and wrote a very nice welcome message as they knew this stay was special . This hotel is my go to hotel in Edinburgh for last couple of years . Usman , Zsanett and all of the team are welcoming and very professional . Their welcoming manner is consistent with all their guests and nothing is too much trouble . Shahed in the bars service last night was amazing and food was delicious. The self service breakfast in morning which is complimentary has a vast choice of food and drink , really great for setting you up for a day of exploring the city . It’s great for transport links being near railway and a car park near , as hotel guests we got 40% discount on parking , which made it very affordable for our two night stay . The hotel rooms are well appointed and really lean also very sound proof . One thing i’ve noticed on my stays in this hotel is the consistency of staff it seems to be a small team of staff focused on providing high level of service to guests . I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a city break to Edinburgh . You can leave bags in early and our room was actually ready when we arrived at 12 , 3 hrs before checkin time . They will retain cases after checkout at 12 if you have more exploring / business that day . Thank you so much Usman , Zsanett and all the team for making our anniversary special . We will be back

All your staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was everything we expected. The evening menu could have been expanded. We booked evening meal for 2 evenings. The first night the food was presented nicely,unfortunately the second evening the presentation was lacking. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return
