As usual, staying at Mi Hotel Bencoolen was amazing. This was our second stay here, and it remains our favorite. While the main reason we initially chose this hotel was the bidet, we returned because of the fantastic overall experience.
The location is top-notch and incredibly accessible. From Changi Airport, it is only one MRT transfer away, and the Bencoolen station exit is just a short walk from the hotel doors. Getting around is just as easy; it's close to the Downtown and Circle MRT lines, and only a few steps away from multiple bus stops that can take you anywhere in Singapore with ease.
The room itself was comfortable, clean, and offered enough space. This time, we tried the balcony room, which had a lovely view—perfect for hanging out at night (it’s nice during the day, too, but the Singapore weather is quite hot!). A major highlight remains the bidet, which many hotels in Singapore do not provide.
Lastly, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful, as always; they even let us check in early. Overall, it was another great experience at Mi Hotel Bencoolen, and we won’t be looking for any other hotel for our next visit!

The place is comfortable, strategically located near Bugis MRT, clean rooms, clean toilets, a fairly clean dining area (restaurant), good service, and I love the minimalist style of this hostel. Overall, I give it a 9.0 out of 10.

Room was prepared by the time I reached (around 2pm). Deposited $100 cash (can use credit card too) with reception as hotel policy. Loved the room, which came with bathtub as well! Room was clean and had no issues with it. Living Room had a Sound bar which can connect to Bluetooth to play music, while both TVs had cable TV (no connection to Netflix). Loved the gigantic fridge and the complimentary coffee capsules and coffee machine:-) I must mention that there are so many wall plugs everywhere, don't have to worry about not having enough slots for your devices! Bedroom TV suddenly wasn't working at night (around 12.30am) but called reception and technician swiftly changed the TV (took about 15 minutes). For the rooftop pool, required to book slot during check-in. Need to go to lobby to collect keycard at the start of slot and return at the end of slot. Towels can be found on the left of lifts. View from rooftop pool was beautiful (and I think night view would be even better!) Location of hotel was good. Right downstairs there was 7-11 in case you want some late night snacks/drinks. Right across the road is Haji Lane, where you can visit some beautiful cafes. Many places to explore around the hotel. Believe Suntec City is also about 10-15min walking distance from hotel. Great stay overall and would love to come back again! Will constantly be looking out for sales/promos!

Hotel Bencoolen is a fantastic mid-range choice. The rooms are clean and efficient, but the real winner is the location—walking distance to the MRT and great local food. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. Excellent value for money in the heart of the city!

The receptionist was very kind, even when I had a problem unrelated to the hotel, they still helped me until it was resolved. The location is great, close to Bugis Junction, and there are lots of food and dessert shops downstairs.
