Koreana Hotel

Excellent location

The staff, the room, and the rest of the hotel were excellent 5/5. The staff was happy to hold our luggage after checkout until our flight later in the day, and housekeeping went above and beyond each day. The only small complaint is that the AC isn’t really adjustable (no matter what we set it at, it always stayed at 71 degrees), and the lights were inconvenient. You had to insert your keycard to turn the lights on, which is fine, but the only issue is when you get up to use the bathroom at night - you either have to turn all the lights on and potentially wake anyone you share a room with (the lamps have individual switches but the hallway lights don’t have separate switches so they always turn on when the keycard is inserted), or you have to use the bathroom in the dark. Aside from this, I have no complaints. The location of the hotel is very close to popular attractions and shopping areas, and the CU next door was very handy!

This was a great hotel! King size bed, large bathroom. Spa on site. A CU convenience store right next to it. Great breakfast restaurant with Korean French toast.

Situation de l hôtel bien au centre

Staff were helpful. Room was clean but certain things were not working (in-room safe) and the light units in the bathroom and room were hanging off the wall. The hotel hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though the rooms are all supposedly non-smoking. Note that any damaged to room - including blocked toilet - would need to be covered by guest’s insurance or credit card. It’s important you inform the hotel as soon as possible after you check in.

Location is the best part of this hotel easy access to line 1,2 and 8. Building is very outdated, carpets have many stains. Walls cleaness is questionable. Staff are very accommodating and professional. Wish the hotel would go through a major renovation soon especially leaky showers and stained carpets

Really amazing hotel with an even amazing location and staff. We loved our stay.the hotel was super clean and the staff was very helpful. We needed translation on various occasions and the staff helped us out. the location is unbeatable and close to a lot of popular areas and markets.

Great location! Central to lots of tourist attractions and easy to navigate via subways and buses. They had coin operated washer and dryer and that was super handy.

Nice hotel in a very good location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good service. Breakfast was overpriced, but there are nice and cheaper breakfast places around in the area.

The hotel was very conveniently located, the staff were helpful. There were limited amenities in the room - the furniture and overall condition of the room was tired but very clean. The A/C had a mind of its own and either did not work or was unable to handle the weather since the room was either freezing or much too warm - my impression was that the controls in the room did nothing and it was operated by some outside force. Room service was very prompt and delicious. We called to order an iron and it arrived very swiftly. The room was very technologically enabled and we were able to order anything we needed via the tablet in the room, which was cool. Also all the lighting (and A/C, theoretically) was controllable via a control panel next to the bed, which was also neat. The windows were large but they had some sort of modern shell retrofit to the building so your view out is set back a foot or so from the actual exterior. There was a convenience store right next door which was great. It was necessary to close the curtains at night as there was a large display on the building across the street that remained on all night and flashing lights would come in the window. Overall our stay was pleasant.

The Hotel is big, the staff is nice. The rooms are really comfy but the carpets are really old and stain. The bathroom is big but we had problems with the shower. Theres a lot of nice coffe shops around. I loved how super convenient the location was

We stayed at the Koreana Hotel Seoul and found the location to be fantastic. It’s very close to major attractions, transport links, and everything Myeongdong has to offer, with plenty of food and shopping options within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. However, the room itself was a bit of a let-down. While it appears that some rooms in the hotel have been recently renovated to a much more modern standard, ours felt quite dated in comparison. The bathroom in particular showed its age, and the shower is in need of refurbishment. We also tried the café on the second floor for breakfast. Unfortunately, the selection was quite limited, and it felt overpriced for what was offered, so not great value for money. Overall, our experience was mixed. The excellent location and friendly staff were definite highlights, but the room quality did not meet expectations. I believe our stay would have been significantly better had we been allocated one of the renovated rooms.
