Professional staff, room is very clean. Love the solid wood furniture. Rooms are spacious.

Location is prime with very clean room and general amenities. Some areas in the room do have clear wear out or stains that were there with building ages. Overall it was a great stay, to most travellers, the connected shopping (luxury brands) is probably useless, the hotel buffet can be improved for the price that it is charging (many better options nearby). In room coffee is little annoying, since it is pour over style, and yet the cup/mug is not tall enough for a good pour over, we ended up using glass water cup that serves better though likely not ideal for hot drink.

Great service, and the room was clean, big and easy access. Great location with walking distance to MRT and nice restaurants. Definitely worth to come back!

Flight delayed due to typhoon so we stayed a night at the Regent, was nothing short of amazing. Large spacious clean rooms, and the amenities were stellar. The rooftop pool was closed so we missed seeing it, next time. If you think you know buffets, don’t miss checking out this one, it’s incredible. So glad we were able to experience the Regent!

Clean room

The hotel needs to brighten up the elevator and hallways. It is so dark that you can barely see anything. Brightening it up also makes it more cheerful. There is no shower cap provided in the bathrooms. The floors needs to be changed to a smooth one for modern day luggage to move around and it looks cleaner than carpet. The elevator and rooms needs to be upgraded to a card instead of the old fashion key. This provides better security for its guests and easier to keep track of. My husband lost one key and we paid $8 USD. A card will be much easier, less bulky, more convenient and less costly.

Beautiful hotel and the rooftop pool was great!

This hotel sets the standard by which all of my hotel stays in the future will be judged. I feel very fortunate to have stayed there. If available, opt for the 19th floor club rooms.

Great hotel.

I recently stayed at Regent Taipei during a business trip and had a wonderful experience despite an unexpected ligament injury that limited my mobility. Before arrival, I was concerned about moving between two consecutive reservations and managing a late-night flight home. The hotel team was incredibly thoughtful and arranged a room close to the elevator, allowed me to stay in the same room throughout my stay, and helped make my visit much more comfortable. A special highlight was the Tai Pan Lounge. Having both my room and the lounge on the same floor made a huge difference while recovering from my injury. The lounge was quiet, relaxing, and provided a great place to rest and work throughout the day. I would especially like to thank the front desk and guest service teams for their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help. Their practical solutions and genuine care turned what could have been a very difficult trip into a comfortable and memorable stay. Thank you, Regent Taipei. I look forward to returning in the future.

Nice rooms, albeit very dusty. Helpful and attentive staff. Problem is noise from other guests slamming doors and making a noise during hours of sleep; non-stop rudeness. Sadly I would not stay again.

Friendly staff, yummy breakfast with many options, large clean comfortable room with welcome fruit and large safe, 5 mins walk from Zhongshan MRT, 7-11 shop 1 minute walk, nearby restuarants. When i complained about the bathtub hot water, they fixed the issue promptly.

Great area to stay in! Bed and pillows were excellent! Service is awesome! Breakfast buffet is pretty good for the price. Lots of places to eat around the area. I would stay here again!
