I can't leave out the clogged bathroom drain, where the water didn't drain at all.
Some staffs had to come in the midnight to unclog the drain and wipe up the water that had pooled on the floor.
Surely I received an apology from the front desk staff during checkout regarding the bathroom issue.
The roommaids who cleaned the room before I checked in must have identified and reported the drainage issue of the room.
But, I checked in at 3 p.m, so there were plenty of rooms available to assign. So, I wonder if it had to be that room.
Additionally the staffs at the swimming pool were very unkind, and the buffet restaurant staff didn’t even bring the coffee I ordered when I first sat down.
Furthermore the staffs at the buffet restaurant's reception desk misunderstood the room number and they repeatedly wrote down the wrong room number, so I had to point it out.
Their service was clumsy, and terrible, except for the front desk staff during checkout.
Despite the Regent Taipei hotel boasting a long-standing reputation and good facilities, its service does not measure up.
