The staff here is extremely courteous and friendly. The buffet is quite good…Lots of items, from hot to cold. I’d rate it 4 stars out of 5. The Grand Hotel is a mainstay in Taipei and the lobby is beautifully ornate with red Asian decor. My room was small, but comfortable and more than adequate. Bathroom and shower were excellent.

Very nice and friendly service from hotel staff, and very clean and comfortable room. My expectations were exceeded a lot here, and the secret tunnel tour is superb. I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed there three nights and very happy with the experience. It is a historical site and the main lobby is gorgeous. The front desk staff is very helpful, especially “黄楚媛” she helped selected a room with greet city view and the 101 tower. Highly recommended

This must be the best and most historic hotel in Asia. Huge comfortable rooms, delightful staff n and amazing foyer and facilities. Downside, the gym, sauna is a bus ride away, coffee from the cafe costs USD $11.20!
