The view from our window is the best part of this hotel, so everything feels great during our stay. Transportation, groceries, and food are nearby. Luna's Park and the walk to Lavender Bay was great. Enjoyed the stay very much.

This would have been a near perfect review, except on the last morning we were awoken at 7.30 to the sound of hammering and drilling in the room next door. Which was still going at 9.30 when we left our room. A poor ending to a really comfortable stay

While we did eat breakfast and it was wonderful the rest of the place was poorly remodeled had an odor and some of the staff not so friendly. It is next to the train station and you can hear and feel it when passing under the hotel

I really appreciated the friendly concierge staff. One of the concierge's got my room safe to work properly and the whole team was patient and friendly. The buffet breakfast was superb and the discounted three course dinner was done really well. The rooms just need to be updated a tiny bit, that is the only improvement that I can think of.
