Breakfast great. No air conditioning and the flies off the lake are bad when you have to open the windows. Lady at checkout was incredibly slow and would not let us leave our keys so missed the boat. Otherwise excellent location and as expected.

The Heritage Hotel is located in the heart of Hallstatt, a city that has lost its soul. Please do not go to this city or this Hotel. The Heritage and its staff, especially the manager, know they have you trapped in a facade of a city. The managers/staff demeanor and service are indicative of someone who has a captured audience. Hallstatt is as authentic as Disney Land and any true traveler would want to escape upon arrival. Parking is nowhere near the hotel (almost a mile) although it appears to have parking in the photographs. If you’re looking for a beautiful Austrian experience leave Hallstatt out of your plans and stay at hundreds beautiful places near by.

The hotel has no AC, if you are traveling by car there is not access to the hotel, nor is there parking on site. The only option is a public parking lot. They do provide a free shuttle service that picks you up every 30 minutes, however if the shuttle is full, you have to wait another 30 minutes, and if you arrive in the afternoon the shuttle leaves you two blocks from the hotel and you have to walk with your luggage.

The room was excellent, offering stunning lake and mountain views from the 4th floor of Building 2. The accommodations were comfortable, well maintained, and truly the highlight of our stay.
However, the overall service experience was disappointing. Aside from the shuttle driver, who was very helpful and assisted us with our luggage, most staff members appeared unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel is spread across three buildings connected by steep rocky streets, and the absence of elevators made access challenging, particularly when carrying luggage.
While the scenery and room quality were outstanding, the level of hospitality did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, it was not worth the 3.5-hour drive from Vienna for us to return.

이 호텔에서 제일 좋은 스위트룸을 예약했는데 들어가자마자 후회함. 방 레벨도 너무 낮고 제일 비싼 스위트룸인데 레이크뷰가 하나도 없었음. 제일 기대한 호텔이었는데 실망이 너무 큼. 냉장고에 물이 있었는데 어디서 가져왔는지 병에 수돗물을 넣어둔 느낌.. 며칠간 예약 없었으면 열려있는 물병에 물이 며칠 방치되었을지… 남편 생일 기념 여행이라고 했는데 축하 메세지도 하나도 없음.
그나마 좋았던 것은 조식은 나쁘지 않았고 조식에서 보는 레이크뷰는 좋았음. 할슈타트 내의 위치도 나쁘지 않음. 그냥 패밀리 룸이지 스위트룸이라고 하면 안될 것 같고 이 호텔 예약할 거면 일반 레이크뷰 룸으로 예약하는 것을 추천. 같이간 4명 모두 이 호텔 스위트룸에는 실망했음.
