Aspen Village Inn

We were in the Family Triple Room. I loved how spacious it was. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The lady at reception was very helpful in getting us the kitchen supplies that were lacking in the room. I loved the fireplace as well. There was sufficient parking and everything was walkable from the Inn.

Our cabin had some cooking items Was a good size but bathroom very small This was updated with a new shower which you pull down the faucet we did not know how it worked until maintenance showed us Needs a little TLC

Check in was quick and easy. The property is a little dated but the location is prime. The bathroom looked updated and it was well heated and it was pleasant to have warm towels after a shower. We were lucky to go during the low season (before May 7) but there were only two restaurants open in the immediate area and one was right across the street! The hotel is walking distance to the general store, Cameron Falls, and to Bertha Trail! At night we walked across to road to the playground and had a perfect view of the night sky. Lots of wild life in the area. My one complaint is that it was noisy when we were there, we could hear the people in the joined rooms and there was outside noise too early in the morning (not certain if it was stuff being done on the property or nearby).

The location of the Aspen Village was great. It was way easy to access other areas especially with kids. Room was good and clean. We spent two nights and that a good experience. I'll recommend it to other visitors if they plan to stay in the Waterton National Park.

Kitchen cooking stove was not working, I have to call office twice so some one can come and look over

Worst mattress ever.

Arrived at 3:30 to check in found an envelope taped to door with my room key and letter that they are closed Tues and Wed. Go to assigned room and someone is living there. Assigned a second room same thing. There were also two other rooms with room keys in the door knobs ( they use old style metal keys). After waiting over an hour for staff at another hotel to get ahold of the manager we were given another room not the room I booked and paid for. We ended up leaving and heading the 3 hr drive home at 6pm as we didn’t feel comfortable stay when multiple staff manager included had no idea there were people occupying rooms and keys in doors that anybody could go in. I was told my room would be refunded that’s yet to happen and have yet to receive an apology from the manager or property management company. I understand this is off season and staff is limited but I booked 7 weeks in advance they could have cancelled my booking and I could have made other arrangements. We love Waterton and visit 4 times a year in off season so this won’t stop us from returning but I will not ever book at this hotel again.

It is a great motel conveniently located in the town of Waterton. Easy walking distance to everything and beautiful mountain views. The room was comfortable and well laid out with a small kitchen.

Was a nice place! Very clean and comfortable

The room temp on arrival was 10 degrees. We cranked up the heat and kept our winter coats on for almost 2 hours before the temp rose to 15. We got an extra heater which helped. We were on the 2nd floor. It had snowed a lot the day before, and the stairways had not been cleared. The parking lot was partially cleared. The woman at the Kilmorey reception desk did her very best to help us out … gave us extra blankets as well. We saw no other staff .. except in the Kilmorey pub for supper … they were very good as well.

Room was excellent. Clean and tidy. Front desk from the Kilmorey was very helpful.

Fireplace was on and the room was warmly welcoming.

Check-in was terrible-No Aspen Village Reception office was open. I had to ask around where to get the key. In the dark night with raining.. also for the first time in this area.. At least the direction how to9 check-in should have been notified by Hotels.Com. Also I saw a few crawling bugs on the floor, I guess I was lucky enough not to0 be bitten while I was sleeping.

Parking onsite a bit tight. Staff very helpful and friendly.
