We weren't sure what to expect based on very limited photos and description of the room. We got the deluxe king room, and had no idea what we were going to get...but it was fantastic! So happily surprised from what I remember Aspen rooms being like 10 years ago. Our room was updated and very nice. Everything appeared to be clean. We were surprised to have a kitchen, a fireplace, and a balcony. Bed was comfy but too soft for my back-I woke up with a sore neck and back both mornings-but it was expected. We did hear other guests when they were outside our room, but not much at all from surrounding rooms. Lots of TV options and all the streaming services were available.
Staff was okay. Front desk seemed nice but not overly friendly, chatty, or outgoing. In comparison with other hotels it was a noticeable difference. Staff at check out said that check in desk clerk didn't need to take additional deposit, but did anyways. It appeared they were training. I'm sure they'll have it down as they gain more experience.
Parking was limited, and it's early in the season. On a Saturday night, our side parking lot was full.
Minor complaint, the bottle to wash your hands-have it so you can remove it or add the option of a bar of soap.
Overall, great stay. Our room was an excellent warm welcome at the end of each day of our trip. Would absolutely stay in that room again!!

We were in the Family Triple Room. I loved how spacious it was. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The lady at reception was very helpful in getting us the kitchen supplies that were lacking in the room. I loved the fireplace as well. There was sufficient parking and everything was walkable from the Inn.

It is a great motel conveniently located in the town of Waterton. Easy walking distance to everything and beautiful mountain views. The room was comfortable and well laid out with a small kitchen.

Quite a good hotel but it isnt great. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. For a place like Waterton with limited options, this is a good enough hotel to spend a weekend in. Just a basic one. Nothing fancy or nothing too bad. Great location by the way. Just a block away from downtown.

Be Careful Booking through Expedia! We booked a Standard Double Room with 2Q beds, mini fridge and microwave. When we arrived we were told Expedia changed our reservation to a pet friendly room which was not what I booked due to allergies. Thankfully the nice staff changed our room to one on the 3rd floor facing Harebell Rd and overlooking the cabins. Room was very clean with laminate wood flooring, however 2 Queen beds were much too soft for us and sunken in middle. Bathroom was a bit tight but had bath/shower and toilet, all new. Outside the bathroom was a large 5 ft granite countertop with a good size sink, microwave, coffee maker set up and below the counter was a cupboard with extra towels, 3 drawers and a minifridge with a small freezer section. Window above sink area was opaque but did not have a blackout curtain like the front window near beds. Our room had nice mountain view and an AC/heater unit below the window. There was a gas BBQ area and picnic tables. I would definitely return but make sure Expedia doesn't change my room or book direct with Inn. Note: some rooms still have carpet and a microwave on top of the minifridge.

We thought it was great for a last-minute trip. It certainly isn't five star, but it's very Central. The room was clean and we had a good sleep. They had everything you could possibly need while in a beautiful place. You shouldn't even really be in your room... Waterton is stunning.

Check in was quick and easy. The property is a little dated but the location is prime. The bathroom looked updated and it was well heated and it was pleasant to have warm towels after a shower. We were lucky to go during the low season (before May 7) but there were only two restaurants open in the immediate area and one was right across the street! The hotel is walking distance to the general store, Cameron Falls, and to Bertha Trail! At night we walked across to road to the playground and had a perfect view of the night sky. Lots of wild life in the area. My one complaint is that it was noisy when we were there, we could hear the people in the joined rooms and there was outside noise too early in the morning (not certain if it was stuff being done on the property or nearby).

The location of the Aspen Village was great. It was way easy to access other areas especially with kids. Room was good and clean. We spent two nights and that a good experience. I'll recommend it to other visitors if they plan to stay in the Waterton National Park.

Arrived at 3:30 to check in found an envelope taped to door with my room key and letter that they are closed Tues and Wed. Go to assigned room and someone is living there. Assigned a second room same thing. There were also two other rooms with room keys in the door knobs ( they use old style metal keys). After waiting over an hour for staff at another hotel to get ahold of the manager we were given another room not the room I booked and paid for. We ended up leaving and heading the 3 hr drive home at 6pm as we didn’t feel comfortable stay when multiple staff manager included had no idea there were people occupying rooms and keys in doors that anybody could go in. I was told my room would be refunded that’s yet to happen and have yet to receive an apology from the manager or property management company. I understand this is off season and staff is limited but I booked 7 weeks in advance they could have cancelled my booking and I could have made other arrangements. We love Waterton and visit 4 times a year in off season so this won’t stop us from returning but I will not ever book at this hotel again.
