Hampton by Hilton Blackpool

Overall a superb stay thanks to an amazing receptionist called Grace. She didn’t hesitate to go that extra mile for us, she’s a credit to the Hotel and deserves a pay rise!

It was a lovely stay, definitely better than the other places we have stayed in Blackpool. I would say my only issue was the

Hotel was lovely & clean. The staff were friendly & the room was lovely. The breakfast was free but the sausages were awful.

There was a young persons football tournament on resulting lots of them around the hotel which is fine however parents allowed them to run riot which could have been avoided had the staff been more hands on and ‘seen’ Yes parents should be monitoring their children and if not should be told by staff if children were misbehaving but nothing was said as there was not enough staff to monitor or deal with the situation Some of tables and surrounding areas were left very dirty with crayon’s everywhere and no attempt to clean them by staff when they walked passed. This also resulted in early morning noise and the children ran riot in the corridors, yes there were signs to be quiet and respect other guests but these were at adult height. In our view corridors should have been checked regularly with so many children being in the hotel as this is also a hazard as they were running through corridor doors and letting them bang shut As one of our party has MS, this all made her extremely uncomfortable with the above mentioned mess and children flying about

Excellent room and breakfast and view

Terrible stay due to hotel booking lots of children in for a football tournament The noise was something else as they were unsupervised and noise was in the dining room and bed rooms was constant The restaurant was like a canteen, no set tables get your dirty tray and cutlery

Great place and lovely warm swimming pool

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. WiFi access was easy. Beach view was lovely.

Close to the tram stop and ideal for getting into central Blackpool Room had some areas of repair that need attention Parking was £13.50 on top which wasn't mentioned when we booked Hotel was comfortable and clean Check in was slow as the 2 staff members were dealing with one customer

Everything was great - bed was a little uncomfortable but other than that, we had a really good stay. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. The room had a fab view of the beach too.

We paid extra for a view room. The view was the best thing about our room. The room was very stuffy on arrival. Had to put on the fan straight away. The room looked verdy tired, chipped pain, stains on the curtains. I always strip our beds when we stay away, when i stripped the beds the duvet was heavily stain & the mattress was badly stain aswell. The only thing that was ok was the matress topper. The cleanliness really should be looked at. I came away feeling dirty, im positive i came away with marks from bedmites! This is a shocking standard for a hotel chain Hilton! The ceiling yo floor windows would have been lovely but the just looked dirty, i inderstand this is probably from the sea spray, but made the entrance look very dirty. Staff were pleasent. Breakfast was ok but not that impressed at all. Would not reccomend.

Overall a great place for families with pleasure beach being about 15 min walk. Tram stop located within 5 minute walk also provides access to the whole of Blackpool. Staff very friendly and helpful nothing was too much of an ask. Both breakfast and the food menu our very limited and there isn’t much variety. This is same on kids menu. Hotel was very clean and modern. Room itself is standard size clean with a big bathroom. Very clean and modern again. Only downsize is there isn’t much storage room. Our toilet seat was faulty but when we mentioned it they where quick to apologise and said they’d get maintenance to sort it. Parking is limited and if you want to park in the car park it’s £12 pounds a day. There is free parking outside the hotel on the road but it’s very limited . Overall though excellent value for money and a pleasure staying.

Overall excellent hotel, little dissapointed that the family rooms are 2 double beds so kids have to sleep together which is a bit of a recipe for arguments and the beds are VERY firm, which is not for me but maybe great for some people. Room was clean although not much storage. Nice bathroom and toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. Overall really enjoyed our stay.
