Our room was clean and well laid out, we picked a accessible room by mistake but it was good the shower was not great but l take it because it was for a disabled person, staff where lovely and helpful breakfast was as expected l loved the waffles and fresh fruit, location was near the train station and easy access to the centre of York overall would definitely recommend this hotel, there was a gym but we didn’t use it had plenty of exercise walking round the city.

Good hotel. Staff were polite & helpful. The breakfast didn’t have much variety though - no brown/sourdough, etc, bread (only white), no fried eggs & no veggie options (sausages, fakon).
Bed was comfy but the basement room was noisy because of the generators right outside the window.

The hotel was a good alternative to Travelodge. Reception was quick and friendly. Room was compact but comfortable with a large screen television. Beds firm but comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good but continental breakfast was limited. Sausages on cooked breakfast were awful.
The whole hotel was unnecessarily cold, wasting energy and uncomfortable. Reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly but again the bar was limited, some cocktails would have been nice.
Would not hesitate to use again.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there.

The breakfasts were excellent, but the food at night was poor, had ran out of all the specials by 7.30pm, and what we were able to have, was cold, chips ,curry and the chicken in one dish was rock hard.
