Novotel Paris Les Halles

The property is close to Notre Dame, the Louvre and the opera house a short walk no more then 20min. The property is very close the metro station and restaurants.

Staff were incredibly helpful. Air conditioning worked very well! Beds were comfortable. Location was great!

This was our second stay here having spent several nights here the previous summer. This year it was a smaller room, with a higher price, and no view. Kind of felt like a downgrade. Hotel has been under renovation. The new, and I don't know if it's permanent or temporary, breakfast area is smaller. We liked the old one. Hotel remains in a great location, though.

We liked the location of the hotel; it was near one of the biggest stations and it facilitated transport in Paris. In fact, we used the subway station next to the hotel to make our way to Disneyland Paris. We also liked the proximity to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and there are many shops, pharmacies and restaurants to choose from that are all short walks away. It was very hot when we were in Paris, and the hotel offered ice cream in the lobby, which our son took full advantage of. The service was also pretty friendly. The hotel is under construction, so I don't actually know what it looks like from the outside, and I definitely didn't see the lit globe that is their main picture advertisement. Our hotel room's door didn't open all the way, and when they brought up a room service meal for us, the attendant found it difficult to get the tray in because the opening was limited. We had to call downstairs to come unlock our fridge so we can get waters (which we would be paying for). The positive is that they were prompt in coming up to help with that. We also had to call them because the insert where you put the room key to power the room was broken when we returned from a day trip. My husband was able to put it back in place, so they didn't do anything about it right away. Lastly, the shower in the restroom was interesting. While there was a dedicated room for the bathroom, the shower was next to the bed area and you could choose to frost or defrost that full wall/window.

Really top-notch staff throughout. Courteous, fast, always smiling - from check in staff, to bar tender to concierge. Manon from concierge was especially helpful on checkout. Very clean property in a good location. Quiet, modern amenities, wonderful restaurant area for an excellent breakfast. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with many major tourist attractions within walking distance. It is also conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around the city. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, so finding a good meal is never a problem. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The only downside was the surrounding neighborhood was sometimes a bit dirty, with trash on the streets and bad odor. However, this is an issue with the city's cleanliness rather than the hotel itself. One suggestion for the hotel would be for the housekeeping staff to check the soap and shampoo levels more carefully and ensure there is an adequate supply for guests.

It's a basic hotel, small rooms and good breakfast buffet.

Rooms are ok. Take forever for iron and iron board to come to room. Not much selection for food at hotel.

Property is in a very convenient location for using transit system. Room looked to be recently renovated yet the carpet was filthy. Staff was very helpful in answering questions about the best ways to navigate the city

We really enjoyed our stay at Novotel. Not sure why the front of the building only says “Hotel,” but everything else was great. The metro is literally right outside, there are loads of cosy bistros nearby, and the riverbank is an easy 8‑minute walk. The staff were polite and always tried to help, and the room was clean and comfortable.

My family stayed in the Standard room that facing the front entrance side (Les Halles) station and often hear the noise from the nearby bars and shops after 11am. Loud music and waste collection early in the morning. The room size is adequately for my family but the condition seems totally knackered such as broken toilet seat, dirty carpets , stained mattresses, pillows and the cleaner never cleaned the glasses every time when we go out. The hotel charged you for the €150 for the foods or drinks in the fridge but I discovered it was locked and unable to open during my stay. The hotel lobby doesn’t have the AC so it’s really warm during the summer and there is no direct drop off/pick up area from the hotel front door. You have to walk approx 20m from the nearest drop off from the street and walk up to the entrance . Some staffs at the lobby seem alright but they don’t greet you all the times as you would expect from Novotel level. However, the hotel’s location benefits by the near by underground and many restaurants + bakery shops around. In summery, I wouldn’t recommend to stay in this hotel in any future and totally disappointment with the quality and our expectation from Novotel brand.
