The Hoxton, Paris

Honestly this property was really disappointing for the price.The rooms are spacious and water pressure is good. When checking in, getting your bags to the lobby in the back through cobblestone hallways in a pain. Dropped and lost my hat during checkin and staff couldn't have cared less. Place is a maze by the way. Then had a reception card in the room meant for someone else... One night someone smoked in their room and fire alarm triggered for the entire hotel at 4 am. No explanations, apologies, nothing. Cleaning services are poor, wine glass clearly rinced in sink and wiped with towel (lip marks still on it). Kleenex box took 3 days to refill. For some reason, she kept taking our 2nd room card from the electricity thing and keeping it. Location is quite good, but then the staff all pretty young and inexperienced. Was never able to enjoy the bars at night as they kept closing at different times. This isn't a bad hotel, but for the price and apparent star rating, it was profoundly underwhelming. Felt more like a big hostel than an actual hotel.

Great location, very nice hotel with a very lively vibe. Always something going on and ppl hanging out at the restaurant, bar, courtyard or pool. Room was small but well appointed. Shower/ hot water and AC both worked great. Only complaints are: a fire alarm went off literally at 3:00 am and awakened us from a sound sleep; and We requested ice from the front desk and it never came.

The Hoxton is a lovely property, very clean and professionally staffed. It is also quite the vibe in the lobby, with a lot of traffic from non-hotel guests eating and socializing and, unfortunately, getting in the way. Not my thing, but maybe it’s yours so not necessarily a negative. The first of two definitive things that were objectively negative were the bathroom walls being glass - not see through at all, but light conducive. Each time we needed the bathroom at night, we’d have to light up the whole space to use it, and the worst of it is that the light was by the front door, so even if the walls weren’t glass, you’d need to open and close the door twice and let the light wake up your partner. Not ideal. Other than that, lovely bathroom. Clean, stylish, great shower. The second was the air conditioning or lack thereof. We were in Paris when it was very hot (32-34C) and our room was consistently very, very warm. Regardless of how low we set the AC, the room temperature was uncomfortable. I doubt it dipped below 25-26. For this reason alone, we wouldn’t stay again. Very nice staff, well-maintained hotel, nicely located with regard to public transit and restaurants. If you’re an extrovert who likes it on the hot side, this is the property for you.

The Hoxton was the best stay we’ve had in Paris. The location had lots to do and felt safe at the same time. It is in a walking distance to the 1st arrondissement and many sights as well. Our room was well equipped and quiet, but we were able to step out into the lively courtyard for a coffee, food, or drink as we pleased! The staff were welcoming and accommodating to our needs from the moment we checked in. We will always stay at the Hoxton in Paris from now on

Great staff; great location and facilities

Roomed smells like an ashtray. Loud noise always. Impossible to sleep. Worst soundproofing ever. Staff was rude and looked like you disturbed them. Even asked for an early checkout to get away from the hotel from hell and was told I would be charged for the full stay and never bothered to ask why. Never again.

Very modern and beautiful room decor with comfortable mattress and luxurious soft sheets. The bar and lounge areas and lobby are lively, outside dining area is beautiful. Very young crowd in this hotel.

a young vibrant team has their hands on all the wheels at HOXTON paris‼️ we spent 6 days with our large family over CHRISTMAS….2025… twas a superb experience…. Mathilde…Bastion….& all the team…BUT even though the names of the team are numerous, and i can’t add them ALL…it was everyone we encountered…. la welch USA

We absolutely loved your hotel, especially the lobby area. Our room was quaint and cozy - well organized and comfortable once we were in bed. Our struggle was that there was literally no room to walk around or put our luggage anywhere. I couldn't use the luggage cart as we wouldn't be able to open the bathroom door. I would have booked a larger room if I had known how very small the cozy room was. My daughter also booked a cozy room and had plenty of space to move around and store her luggage. Otherwise, everyone was very polite and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff has been more than accommodating but basic room amenity is very limited

Had an excellent stay, staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Location was convenient. Restaurant & Bar were enjoyable. Had a great vacation with family!

My first stay at The Hoxton Paris also marked my first visit to the city, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed through thoughtful details such as a handwritten note and beautifully curated snacks in my room. The ambiance throughout the hotel is effortlessly elegant, and the dining experience was exquisite, with truly memorable food and service. Every touchpoint reflected care, sophistication, and impeccable hospitality. An outstanding stay that set the tone for my time in Paris I will most certainly be returning.

The room was great, a good size, very clean. A little dark but the bathroom light is good so not awful. The staff are exceptional, Gabriel on the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The bar is really good, we were served both nights by a guy (whose name we didn’t get) but the drinks were great and again, he was so friendly. Overall just excellent
