Naxos Resort

My group had booked 4 rooms at this resort. Generally, everything was great - the two pools, closeness to the beach, breakfast options, and helpful front desk. However, of the 4 rooms we had booked, 2 of the rooms had incredibly uncomfortable issues with housekeeping. For both rooms, the housekeeping did more than just clean the rooms. They folded all the clothes (including folding dirty clothes and packing with clean clothes), packed them in our packing cubes, and put the packing cubes back into our suitcases, and zipped them shut. One of those two rooms, the door was left completely open when we returned after being gone all day. When we complained to the front desk, the response was lackluster and there was no apology. We asked that our rooms not be cleaned again, but that was ignored and our rooms were cleaned again! I've never encountered this in all my years of traveling. It felt like a personal violation to go through our clothes and pack them, while we still had about a week at the resort! The fact that we didn't get an apology AND our request to not clean our rooms was not followed left us with a bad experience.

Great place to stay. Close to beach, on site pools not overly crowded. Generous breakfast. Comfortable bed. Walkable to central Naxos town (Chora). Good value for money. Didn’t notice lifts although plenty of ground floor rooms and room showers not huge although perfectly suitable. Would stay again for sure!

Great hotel, within walking distance to Naxos town. St. George beach is right off the property and it's beautiful. The staff are all very helpful. They help rent cars too if you want to explore the island and it's very convenient. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at the hotel and the facilities were great. Having close proximity to the beach and getting a discount on sun loungers was perfect. The beach is shallow so is very good for families with small children. Breakfast was plentiful in choices and options. Everything you need is nearby such as shops, numerous restaurants and bars.

We enjoyed the pool and free breakfast. Our room was clean, and housekeeping was good. Room was not the same as the pictures. Our room was not an updated room. There were no window screens, and it was a bit of a disappointment in that regard. Overall a good location and very walkable for shopping and dining out. The landscaping was lovely and the pools were nice and clean.

We loved it here! Very luxurious and beautiful with a perfect location. The breakfast buffet was great, the access to the beach (literally a 2 min walk) was amazing, the pools and pool bar made us feel like we were able to completely relax. And the rooms were very much to American standards - plenty of sink space, larger shower, robes, fridge, huge closet, nice patio, nespresso machine. They even brought us a complimentary chilled bottle of wine and handwritten note on our first day. I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful property, we loved everything especially the excellent service from Andreas, Eva & Francesca. The cleaning staff did an amazing job. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. I would highly recommend this property🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴

I booked this resort, early when we were planning our vacation. Our plans had changed suddenly and I could not get a refund for our one night stay. I was able to visit the resort for the day using ferry there and back. I hindsight I should have forfeited, but I was determined is see Naxos Greece. If I’m every visiting this part of our world, Greece will get a favourable reception.

My family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Naxos Resort. The location was perfect, as we were able to walk to the beach and into old town (especially for teenagers). The rooms were very comfortable, especially appreciated the very comfortable bed. We all enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the pool and the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to return here sometime soon!

Beautiful grounds and pool area. Room had a comfortable bed, cold ac, and hot water in the shower...all the basic necessities! I had a balcony which had both a pool and sea view; highly recommended. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the Wi-Fi and they did their best to address the issue. Pool and beach area are amazing. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety. Property is located about a five minute walk from Naxos Town (AKA Chora), where you can find various bars, restaurants, grocery stores , pharmacies, rental car places...anything you may need. Overall a great experience. If I were to nitpick a little, there were two minor details I feel could be improved upon. First, the resort is VERY quiet. When I say this, keep in mind that I am 57 years old, and it was a little too quiet even for me. The so-called regular pool was like a quiet pool, and the quiet pool was like a mausoleum! I know they are going for a laid-back vibe, but a little Greek music played at a reasonable volume would go a long way to creating a little ambiance. The other minor item of concern was the poolside service, or lack thereof. The employees were not proactive at all when it came to asking poolside guests if they needed a drink; you had to either chase them down or just walk over to the bar to get your own drink (usually the better option). It was not a big deal for me, but I did overhear other guests commenting amongst themselves about the terrible poolside service.

Very nice resort, good location, walking district the port, old town and temple of Apollo. Buffer breakfast was excellent. Beach is 1 min walk.

The internet kept dropping out.

This was our 2nd stay but this time we were in the older Naxos resort section rather than the galaxy section but enjoyed the room even though it wasn’t renovated as much (updated but not renovated). Breakfast was fabulous as last time. Enjoyed the discounted beach sunbeds. Location is the best in Naxos as you’re right on the beach and only a short walk to amazing restaurants. We hope to return for a 3rd visit !!

Huge selection and all the food was good quality. Randomly tried a breakfast bar and was surprised it was one of the best breakfast bars I've ever had. Staff was incredibly nice and made suggestions for sights to see and restaurants. Room was comfortable and the tv had nfl in German which was fun.

The breakfast was very good and the room was wonderful. The view was amazing.
