Alur Hotel

The hotel is very strategic, very close to Bandung's culinary hotspots, Tjilaki, Noisy Matcha, Roti Merak, etc. The breakfast is also delicious 🤩. All the staff are friendly from the security guard to the receptionist. I arrived a little early but thank God I was still able to check in even though it wasn't 2 PM yet 🥰🙏🏼

Had such a lovely stay here! The hotel was super cozy, clean, and comfortable. Honestly, it felt like a little home away from home. ✨ The location is also a major plus. It’s close to so many trendy and viral spots in Bandung, so getting around and exploring the city was super easy. Overall, such a nice experience. Would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Bandung! 🤍

The hotel staff is very friendly, the environment is clean, and close to access such as parks, restaurants, etc. Perhaps the soundproofing could be improved, because sometimes footsteps and vacuum sounds can be heard.

All the staff were friendly, check-in and check-out were quick, and the room smelled so relaxing. It's also very close to Bolu Tjilaki 9, just a 3-5 minute walk away.

Every hotel has its own strengths and weaknesses. I chose Alur Hotel because of the excellent reviews on the booking platform, hoping the experience would match my expectations. Here's my honest review after staying for one night on a weekday. Pros: - There is no traditional lobby lounge; instead, you're welcomed directly into the coffee & kitchen area. Although it's quite compact, everything was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh, which was one of the hotel's biggest highlights. - The concierge was friendly, professional, and able to answer all of our questions and assist with our needs. The housekeeping staff was also warm and welcoming. - The entire hotel was clean and well maintained. - The room was spacious enough for two people, clean, well maintained, and smelled pleasant. - The bed, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable. - The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool. - TV channels were available and functioning well. - The bathroom was clean and in good condition. Cons (considering the price we paid): - The bathroom amenities could be more complete. There was no hairdryer or shower cap. - There was no information about room service. - The room's interior design felt quite plain and reminded us of an exclusive boarding house rather than a hotel. - Unfortunately, our room had no window at all, making it feel a bit enclosed. - Breakfast options were limited and served as a set menu. The portion was rather small, the hot tea was extremely bitter, and we weren't provided with tissues, sauce, or sugar. - The limousine city tour around Bandung mentioned in the facilities was unavailable during our stay. - There were a few flies inside our room. - We read that the hotel is within walking distance of several viral locations. While that may be true, but please be careful if you decide to walk. The surrounding are busy and there are very limited pedestrian sidewalks. Overall, we personally feel this hotel is a bit overrated based on our stay.

Access to the hotel is good, and the grounds and rooms are clean. The only downside is there's no elevator, but the staff are happy to help with luggage. The TV is a Smart TV, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi doesn't work. Overall, our stay was wonderful.

I was very happy staying at this Alur, especially since I got free greetings in my room. The only downside is the limited breakfast, but otherwise, my stay at Alur was very comfortable.

Strategic location to viral culinary spots

Everything was great. The staff were very kind and diligent. From the receptionist to the guard, everyone was nice. I would stay here again. The room was very spacious. Requests for extra towels were free of charge, and laundry service was also available at affordable prices. Everything was good! Please, please, try this hotel! If you have a small freezer, then it's worth the infinity star for Alur!

The owner was so humble and we had a great time sharing experiences. Will come back again for sure.
