Jumeirah Bali

An exceptional property completely let down by its service. Jumeirah Bali is architecturally stunning, but luxury is defined by service, not only by beautiful facilities. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the service was consistently far below what the Jumeirah brand promises. The biggest disappointment was the restaurants. At every single meal, whether at Akasa or Segaran, we faced excessive waiting times for extremely simple dishes, starters, drinks and even a bottle of water. Even when restaurants were nearly empty, orders were forgotten, we had to ask repeatedly, and meals arrived with no coordination. This happened throughout our stay, making it clear that these were not isolated incidents but a systemic operational problem. The same lack of organization affected transportation and general guest service. We repeatedly waited for buggies after multiple requests. The most unbelievable example came after we had already checked out, when the hotel reminded us of a spa appointment we had never booked and even offered a buggy from our villa—despite us having left the property four hours earlier. Management apologized many times, but apologies without improvement eventually become meaningless. I have traveled the world on more than 300 trips and have stayed in countless luxury hotels. I have never experienced such a significant gap between the quality of a property and the quality of its service. Beautiful resort. Exceptional architecture. Completely unacceptable

Staff were amazing and made sure we were very comfortable. I do feel they work very hard and are sometimes overwhelmed, and don’t think their effort is appreciated. But overall great experience if you want a relaxed break with great atmosphere.

Our stay at Jumeirah Bali was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was warm, professional, and always delivered with a smile. We were traveling as a family with two young children, and the staff consistently went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They helped arrange our airport transportation, assisted with our late departure plans, and made the check-out process smooth and convenient so we could enjoy our final evening without any stress. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained. The views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the attention to detail made it the perfect place to relax. We also enjoyed dining at Segaran and Akasa Restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding and made our stay even more memorable. This trip was especially meaningful because we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here, and Jumeirah Bali helped make it an experience that our family will always remember. Thank you to everyone at Jumeirah Bali for your kindness and hospitality. We look forward to returning again in the future.

I was there for such a short time I don’t feel like I give a big review but just to say it was clean, beautiful and quiet. Very spacious beautiful landscape grounds understanding large pool. Recommended as a five star hotel very near the airport either for first night or two or the last.

Super picky traveler here and Jumeirah Bali has provided an unforgettable experience.

Bearing in mind I was only at the hotel for 24 hours, I can’t really give a full appraisal. My short time there I was treated with warmth and professionalism. The property is beautiful with sweeping landscape lanes for the electric buggy to take you to your room or walk down to the pool which again is very beautiful in it setting. I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t have a meal there but all in all, I would definitely recommend the Hotel.

Excellent resort! More than 5 stars. I would like to mention Dian for her great service at the restaurant near the pool during dinner. I will recommend friends and family to stay in this marvellous resort.

Fabulous place. Sunsets are amazing. Villas are large and private. Gardens and property very well maintained. Highly recommend both on-site restaurants. Staff looked after every detail. Good luck to Charles the new manager.

Gorgeous property, amazing food, friendly staff and one of the best spas I’ve been to. It was the perfect hotel on the beach.

Best hotel ever!!!

We found everything at the hotel superb. From the excellent food to the villa’s private pool. The villa was pure luxury. Service was flawless and always with a smile and personal touch. The spa was the best my wife has ever visited. We were made to feel part of “the family”: in the best of ways. Thoroughly recommended. (We were there for seven nights: seven nights too short!)

Great stay!

This is the most amazing resort we have ever stayed at, and we are experienced travelers! This place itself is exquisite, the rooms palatial, and the staff is the most hospitable. 5 stars doesn’t begin to describe this place. It should have 10 stars!

Warm service. Shoutout to “Carlos” Santana, Widi/Wadi(?), and our photographer, Julia. Need to call out the racist Asian manager though who only attended to Caucasian guests. Couldn’t really care less about her actions. But still NOT a good look for the hotel. Food options are limited. If you’re there for a week, the hotel would serve you the same breakfast items every single day. Nasi Goreng is better at the Ritz in Nusa Dua Bed and pillows are superb.
