Located on a hill approximately 115 meters above sea level and around 3 km from the coast, Penginapan Bukit Soca offers a pleasant stay surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ciletuh Geopark area. From here, you can enjoy a combination of coastal, mountain, and rice field scenery. The property offers several room types. When I visited, only one Standard Room was available, equipped with a fan instead of air conditioning. Surprisingly, it was comfortable enough. The night air wasn't stuffy, and during the day, leaving the door open allowed a refreshing breeze to flow into the room, even when the weather was quite hot. Air-conditioned rooms are also available for those who prefer them. One of the highlights is the semi-open dining area, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the beach, mountains, and surrounding rice fields. I was in a hurry and missed the nasi goreng breakfast, but I managed to enjoy some freshly fried bananas before checking out. They were hot, delicious, and a nice way to end the stay. The facilities are fairly practical, with separate parking areas for motorcycles and cars, a toilet with a sitting toilet and shower, and a semi-open prayer room. Overall, Penginapan Bukit Soca is worth considering if you're exploring Ciletuh Geopark and looking for accommodation with beautiful natural surroundings. Even without air conditioning, my Standard Room was comfortable thanks to the cool evening air and natural breeze. The scenery from the dining area is another reason to stay here, so give yourself enough time to enjoy it rather than rushing off in the morning.

The accommodation is quite strategic, has a cool atmosphere, and offers direct views of the beach and hills. To get to the beach and waterfall, just go downstairs. The price is also affordable, including breakfast. The natural ambiance and Sundanese-style accommodation are truly beautiful.

The room was a cubicle, dimly lit. Sound from the next room was very clear. It was noisy because it was directly above the road. The food, oh my God, was not clear, especially the fried rice. The view and friendly staff won out.

The fan's engine is weak, so it's hot. Although the room's walls are cubicles, soundproofing should be installed so that it's not so audible. Luckily, I got a middle room, but the people arguing and chatting in the next room were really audible, even though they weren't talking too loudly, so my rest wasn't restful. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future, even though this is the best accommodation, close to the waterfall and Puncak Aher.

The view is absolutely beautiful, and the food is pretty good. Honestly, I'm a bit sensitive; the mattress was a little itchy, I don't know if it was the material or something, but after covering it with a blanket, it was much better. The room isn't soundproof and is relatively close to the public area, so think twice about doing activities in the room 😁. For a place to stay at that price, it's totally worth it and a very good experience.

I think if the best view of the Ciletuh Geopark is your priority, this is the choice. There are no other accommodations available. Unfortunately, it lacks the amenities of accommodations priced around 400 rupiah and above. What struck me and other guests was the constant switching on and off of the air conditioning, even while we slept. Despite its high altitude, the hotel is still below the altitude of mountain accommodations (e.g., Puncak Pass Bogor). It's not cold here, so air conditioning is crucial.

The hotel staff was very nice upon check-in, but the snoring noise between rooms made sleeping uncomfortable. There was no ultraviolet mosquito repellent, but at least the amenities would provide mosquito repellent (Autan/Soffel) to reduce mosquito bites. The fan didn't work properly, so the room was hot. Overall, I was a little disappointed, I didn't expect much.
