Spice Hotel Milano

The Spice Hotel Milano is in a perfect location next to Milano Centrale (train and metro station that will take you almost anywhere). However, the hotel is incapable of regulating the temperature in its rooms. I stayed during February 2026 (outside temperature at night 2 degrees Celsius or 35 degrees Farenheit). The thermostat inside stated it was 27.5 degrees Celsius (81.5 degrees Farenheit). Upon telling the front desk, they claimed it could not be adjusted but the "heat could be turned off". That never happened. This made sleeping in the room almost impossible. This was too bad as the room had a very comfortable bed, large TV, and spacious bathroom shower. The front desk also did not make any effort to welcome me, add value to my trip, bring any positivity to my stay, or wish me well as I left (lack of hospitality).

The hotel is a great location, close to the Milan main central train station and restaurants and metro. The room is small (typical European room) and basic (I did miss a coffee maker). But, it was clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and overall, a good hotel.

Great location for train station and Metro and a couple of minutes walk from the airport shuttle bus stops at the side of the railway station. The staff were friendly, especially the young lady on the front desk who was extremely helpful. Also looked after my case on the final day until I had to leave Milan. It is slightly noisy at night, but that should be expected from a central city hotel.

WiFi needs improving, guest heating controls (slept with doors open so was super noisy and didn't sleep at all well), despite cleaning very dusty (plus hairs left around the place), space and storage to actually put stuff, more than 1 pillow as they're flat flat

Friendly reception staff, spacious room, though I had a little noise from the street. Hotel is very close to Milano Centrale (less than 5 minutes walk!)

Fab upgrade to the smart hotel

The room was very modern and clean. Lovely staff too. The only issue was the room was a bit too hot (27 degrees) even if I tried to lower the temperature. The staff told me that it was because of the radiator and the only thing I could do was to open the window, which I wasn’t going to do because there was a footpath in front of my window. But overall I enjoyed the stay and would come back!

Room was in good conditions however the location was such the noise from traffic was too much. Staff was professional.

Clean hotel, very good location, polite staff

The great staff & close to train station were 2 good things I could mention. This hotel charged the price for its good looking facility, but provided least services, a cheap operation to maximize profits. All accumulated inconveniences made me move out to another nearby hotel after 4 days. Major issues were : 1. It used black color in walls & cheap floor make you depressed like in prison.NO lamps on desk, no nightstand lights, only little light behind headboard, I could not read. The room was dark, so were All the public places! if any, the censoring was too quick to discontinue light, like the entrance of my room. I had to borrow a flashlight to work. 2). There provided nothing! no microwave oven, cold/hot water, cups/plates in dining room that you could use. The charge included coffee/tea I was told, but had to ask for it . Basically barebones for every thing. I asked for coffee, they gave me only tea Every time. Coffee must be too expensive for them. There was only one roll of toilet paper, you have to be careful watching your usages. Also, The cheap foreign workers never understand what you said, when I asked for a cup for brushing teeth or soap, after staying long enough. The reason for my moving out is not stable WIFI. After some time,my cursor kept turning & I kept waiting. I wasted time & lost the results I got, re-did the work & lost again. No job could be done. This hotel provided me all frustrations. I won’t use it again.

The room is super small and the toilet smelled.

The dark room, insufficient amenities, the not working WiFi, no clue working people ( though front desk staff are great).

A few steps to Milan train station. Nice view. It could be even better if the room light would be stronger.

1 guy at the reception was very rude. I was given a room at the ground floor with a window on the street, and specifically tailored for limited mobility people (without further notice).
