We had great stay here while in Kyoto. Easy access to the train station and friendly staff as well. The breakfast is a must while staying here. It's got good variety and a salad bar for all your daily fiber intake. There's always a line forming outside the restaurant in the morning, but once it's moving, just a few minutes of wait. The most comfortable beds and pillows! Room was a bit dark and dated looking vs what I was expecting but very comfortable. In a great location for the main train station and local buses made our sightseeing trips time efficient. Breakfast was good with lots of choices but the arrival at breakfast and having to wait to be escorted to a table was very slow and frustrating. Only 2 washing machines in the laundry room which is not a lot for a hotel of this size. Overall happy with this hotel and would stay here again.

The room was very nice. Spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I like a softer bed and a lot of beds in Japan are way too firm. This one was perfect and I slept great. The area is close to the station and next to a lot of things. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good too. Definitely would stay again.

The staff was very nice, the rooms clean and spacious, and the location barely 10 minutes walk from Nagoya station.
However, unlike all of the Japanese hotels we stayed at during this 3 week trip there were no hand sanitizer stations to be found.
This was especially concerning at the self serve buffet where there was no opportunity for you to wash or sanitize tour hands after using the buffet utensils.
