Behind Yodobashi Hakata, in a quiet area, close to Hakata Station. Helpful reception staff. Having a microwave and washing machine in the room is a big plus so you can wash clothes every day.

I always love Tokyu Stay hotel chain with their washing machine and microwave available in the room. Their staff is helpful to help keep our luggage’s for a few days while we explore outside of Fukuoka. They even accepted and hold our parcels that we shipped to the hotel. Clean rooms, great service. Spacious enough for 2 x 28” front-open luggage and a cabin luggage. Note that we stayed in the middle of the hotel and can still hear the trains.

Room was very clean. Room cleaning options are very good. We chose the towel and rubbish exchange, no entry. We like Tokyu Stay because of the washer/dryer in the room; it's very convenient to do laundry at night. Staff was very helpful, especially when we had a problem with the washer. Amenities they offer are very nice. This Tokyu Stay had a water dispenser in the lobby and complimentary juice and coffee in the evening. Location is about a 10 minute walk from Hakata station. It was a bit of a challenge maneuvering the streets with luggage in tow. On the day of departure, we caught a taxi to Fukuoka airport, much easier. Front desk can call a taxi for you. Without luggage, walking to Hakata station to eat or shop is not a problem.

We’ve stayed at many various hotels in Japan and have never come across a hotel where the staff have been as unhelpful and dismissive as the ones at Tokyu Stay Hakata. From the front desk staff to some of the restaurant staff. Linh at the front desk was particularly unhelpful. A female staff member who made our drinks at the restaurant was lovely and very friendly. Hotel itself was basic, somewhat clean (the elevators were dirty, bathrooms need more thorough cleaning), comfortable beds, location was a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata station. The in room washer and dryer were great. They’ll only do a full clean of your room once every 7 days, you can pay extra for room cleaning/bed changing if needed.

Rooms are clean and hotel is in a convenient location by the station. We had a room on the railway tracks which was very noisy. A train passed through every 2 minutes. The hotel is nice and relatively modern. The rooms are small, washing machine is pretty useless but only ok if you plan on putting a very small load as the dryer doesn’t dry the clothes. Would only recommend for a short stay and if you choose a room away from the railway side.

It's a very basic hotel with small rooms. Near to Hakata station so if you are looking for a one-night stay close to the station, it does the job. Other than that, not sure why you'd want this location. Washing machine in the room which is helpful if you are travelling light and don't want to supervise washing in a laundry room. There is a small bar in the lobby but it was a bit cold and sterile - I've stayed in similar properties with better atmosphere. In the end it comes down to the price you can get it for and the location - it's perfectly serviceable if it matches your budget and location.

It was our first time booking a room with a washing machine and dryer to ourselves! It was convenient and the dryer was much more effective than the shared ones we have used in other hotels and air bnbs. You don’t have to air dry the clothes much after taking it out. It was good to have the microwave and kettle within reach as well. We appreciate the amenities provided at the lobby, there was a good range of teas and it was fun trying them out. The room was clean and well equipped. One tip: get the ear plugs from the lobby and use them to block out the sound of the railway tracks. It’s highly effective!

the location of this hotel is very good, walkable to the Hakata station, very convenience! one of the front desk female staff is super friendly, sorry I didn't ask her name, but she has smile on her face all the time even she is so busy to store the luggages, she is awesome and love her energy! all other staffs also very nice too; the hotel restaurant has offered free juices and we love it; we booked our room with a kichenette and we really love it, of course has to mention the washer dryer, that is super! they are using Refa hairdryer, shower head and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel; also the lobby has a jukebox and they have placed some black vinyl records that is a cool display.

Bring your own coffee. Restaurant very minimal menu items. Hamburger, eggs Benedict and salad. Washer / Dryer in room works well but slow. Please don't interrupt the cycle, like we did. Lol Soap for laundry is supplied. Easy access to train station and mall. Lots of restaurants in food court at the Hakata station level BF1. Shin shin has excellent ramin.

This hotel is very conveniently located next to the OCAT and the Station. Everything is automated from the check in at a Kiosk, forwarding your luggage, and even storing your luggage is all done through your phone or a kiosk. If you make it error, it is time consuming bc you are not dealing with help from customer service. You have to figure it out yourself. I loved that the 7-11 was inside the hotel. The rooms were very clean. It's a big hotel so a lot of people go through the system so I get why its automated. I would book this hotel again although on the pricy side for it convenience to transportation.
