Great lodge to see Aurora Boreal, nice breakfast. We get to have lots of pictures and the cabin is nice and cozy. Highly recommend.

I gave 4 stars because everyone was really nice, but the property itself is a little deceiving. (Not deceptive, I am not trying to indicate malice.) But for American travelers in particular, it's worth noting that this is really a campground. When you pull in the property, there are RVs situated & plugged in & the lodges themselves are in need of a little updating. The main building is convenient & the staff there could NOT have been more helpful. Everyone super nice. Our travel plans got a little hung up & they were great working with me on late check in & making sure we got situated. But the lodge was a little smaller than expected & a little outdated. In the end, the stay ended up being fine - we opted for 2br with bunkbeds - and everyone had sleeping space. (Family of 4.) But it is definitely more cramped than the pictures indicate, so just beware the space is tight & the bathroom was really small, even by European standards. Our shower was in need of a little update & we did run out of hot water one day. My main "complaint," if I had one, is that it's sort of billed as a place where you can get exposed to a little nature. Now, it does back up to a beautiful mountain. We enjoyed that. But the property is basically in a mixed use area, not exactly rural. So there is tons of light & high occupancy, meaning you really need to get away from that area to have any sort of views. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Other folks there very nice, too, & convenient for tours etc.

Nice cozy cabin but maybe better heating cause couple of nights got cold and didnt feel any heat. Would definitely recommend

The lodge was perfect - clean, a good size and well equipped. We ate breakfast onsite for 2 days and the food was lovely and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Small compact and efficient cabins… We saw northern lights here, and played with a lot of snow.. great and reasonable stay outside the city!

Wonderful breakfast !! The cabin was spacious… only thing missing was a bar of soap for the bathroom.

Quaint and beautiful place that is quiet and relaxing.

There was a little misunderstanding during check-in. We ordered 2 cabins, however only one was initially offered. When I showed Expedia reservation confirmation on my phone, they were able to find second room and provided second key.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. There were many options. Some of the pastries and protein changed daily. Great selection of breads, nuts, and cerails.

We enjoyed our stay at Tromso Camping. The lodge is surround by beautiful landscapes and staff were polite and accommodating. We had a cabin with no toilet/kitchenette but the shared facilities were clean. Our con would have been how far the walk wasn’t the facilities, being I believe the only rooms without toilets it’s strange they are the furthest from the facilities. Made it a bit difficult when I needed the bathroom in the middle of the night and my child was sleeping. I didn’t want to leave her alone. I knew it had no toilet which was fine, I should have checked how far away it was.
