Property was under renovation/contruction. However, the front desk informed us of the hours when we would hear noise, and i was pretty accurate. The hotel was very nice and centrally located. I loved how close it was to the train station (less than a block) and of all the tourity areas.

Stayed here 2 nights with my teenage son in River view with 2 twin beds. Loved the location, with easy access to train station. Front staff even helped me find leather repair shop when my cross-body bag strap broke. We ate in the restaurant both nights with fabulous food and attention staff.

The property is perfectly located central to Old Town and Zurich HB. The property has been well maintained, has character and updated amenities but is definitely a boutique style hotel based on the room sizes. There was street and side building construction noises reverberating through the building at 9 am, noon and 3 pm. Loud enough to wake us during napping.

Very friendly staff - although there was improvement work on going in the upper floors, it made no difference to the quality of our stay. We were moved into better room because of this. Highly recommended.

Our room was not ready upon arrival, but the lovely gal who helped us at the front desk was accommodating and felt bad. It did put a damper a bit on our day as we only had one day/night.
The rooms are small, but updated. Although location is excellent, the downfall is the noise-trains and sirens during the night. If you can get past that, it’s fine.
The bartender Louis was great and mixes an excellent cocktail.
Overall I would say this is more a 3.5 star property, not 4 solid stars.

Stayed one night here while traveling from Zurich to SFO. The room was nice and clean, size felt small but ok as we were able to keep two big checkin size and two carry on suitcases. Bed was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and well organized. One minus is the commode space is pretty tight. Location is excellent and just a walk across the bridge from Zurich HB Station. Easy walk to the many restaurants. Breakfast is not included, it is available but costly. You can easily walk to nearby cafes. Overall enjoyed our day here.

The location of the Hotel is wonderful.
It is centraly located to all major shopping and great restaurants. It is within walking distance to the Zurich Bahnhoff and also Old Town.
The Hotel is clean and staff is wonderful, they are eager to help you.

The suite we had was a great size, it’d was very clean and up to date, staff was friendly and location was great. However, we had a canal facing room. The trams were soooo loud all night. The tubs were also ridiculous in size- so high to try and climb in. My husband is very tall and I’m short and we both struggled. It was very dangerous for our toddler given how small the whole bathroom was and trying to reach him. I don’t know how any person of advanced age could get in safely.

Whilst room was clean. & reasonably comfortable... BEWARE .. appreciative of an early check in approx noon - but after unpacking open the curtains huge construction literally 2 metres from window so worked out why we obtained it! -disappointing as obviously hotel was not full.
without our knowledge an amount of 500chf was charged to our CC (Although full amount was paid on arrival!) & put 'on hold' only found out when checking out.. apparently an administrative error??!! said they would adjust it but not really good when u r travelling for weeks
