Overall great experience at Hotel Ambassador. The property is very neat and clean, and the staff is wonderful and helpful. Best of all, it's located right next to the train station, restaurants, and shopping market. Perfect place to stay in Zermatt!

Our room was very clean and comfortably large. The location was outstanding, being conveniently close to the train station and Main Street with it being load or overly touristy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a great start to each day! We were visiting during the epic European heat wave and while the hotel did not have air conditioning the doors to the balconies were convenient and easy to keep open to create a draft. Thick curtains kept the sun out during the day to keep the room from warming too much. This was our favorite hotel from our Switzerland trip visiting 4 different hotels.

Close to train station… older hotel - good size room - knew there was no AC… but didn’t expect a heatwave so room was a little uncomfortable even with balcony door left open…

The location is super convenient, very close to train station which makes it very easy for us to travel with luggages; close to all jids of transportations for skiing and walking distance to the cemter of village. Hotel itself is very comfortable with great layout and good storage in the room. Fantastic breakfast selections and the onsite ski rental makes it very easy for us.

We tried the restaurant, very expensive and the food was not good . You are better finding a different restaurant in town. The room was ok nothing spectacular, . The location was good close to the train station and downtown .Staff could be more friendly. The hotel did not have a big place to just sit down and relax , they have a small living room.
