If you're curious about the history of Australian and New Zealand soldiers during WWI, this tour is just for you. Learn more about Albany's role in this iconic story. You'll also get to enjoy morning tea/coffee with scones, jam, and cream.

Visit the National ANZAC Centre (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps), and let the interactive displays take you on an intimate journey taken by a soldier in the war. Travel the Avenue of Honour, which leads to the Memorial of the Desert Mounted Corps. 

Learn about Padre White who trod a path to this peak at dawn to remember the fallen. Take in the view that the departing ANZAC Troops had before they sailed onwards to war; for some of them, the last vision of homeland. See Breaksea Island and learn of the construction of the lighthouse and its connection to the ANZAC narrative.

Journey into the centre of Albany and drive past the oldest farm in Western Australia. Visit Patrick Taylor Cottage, one of the earliest western-style homes in Australia. 

Start the tour at the Albany Visitor Centre and travel along Marine Drive as you marvel at the view of King George Sound!

Pause to absorb the vista of the ocean and perhaps, if lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of sheltering whales and calves
