Flores Island in the province of East Nusa Tenggara is one of the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia. Located east of the islands of Sumbawa and Komodo and southeast of Timor; Flores is located directly across the Sumba Strait from the island of Sumba. To the north, beyond the Flores Sea is Sulawesi. The island of Flores, whose name comes from the Portuguese colonial word for 'flower', is the 10th largest island in Indonesia.
Surrounded by volcanoes often surrounded by terraced valleys, then surrounded by beautiful beaches, the island of Flores is a wonderful destination for adventurers, nature lovers and explorers. The port city of Labuan Bajo to the west of the island is the entry point to Komodo National Park, a World Heritage Site that is home to wild Komodo dragons. With incredible dive sites and rich marine life such as mantas, sharks, turtles, dolphins, dugongs and pelagics, the park also offers an underwater paradise.
This 4 day adventure package combines your stay with 1 night in a standard cabin room on a local log boat with 2 nights at the hotel of your choice; gives you the opportunity to see Komodo dragons, visit the most important places in the national park, swim in pristine tropical waters at incredible snorkeling spots, as well as visit waterfalls.
