Kobe Sanda Outlets

Run by Chelsea, a well-known American Outlets group, and built in the style of Pasadena, a high-end residence on the outskirts of Los Angeles, Kobe Sanda Outlets bring together over 180 brand-name and local Japanese shops everything from fashion apparel and clothing to sporting goods and interior decorations. Brands include Anna Sui, Folli Follie, Furla, Abahouse, Chloe, Givenchy, Gap, and many others. Even children will find something to love, as there is also a LEGO store in the outlet. *Visitors can redeem coupons at the information center with their passports. There is also the Aeon Mall next door to Sanda Outlets, with many additional shopping and restaurant options.

Arima Onsen (fees at your own expense)

Arima Onsen is one of Japan’s three oldest hot spring towns, and its history can be traced back thousands of years. It has been loved by people since ancient times because of its excellent location and natural resources. Charming old hotels, souvenir shops, and hot spring streets lined with temples, shrines, and temples are full of old-time flair. 

Strolling through the streets in Arima, which embrace almost all of Japan's long history, you will feel as if you have come to a paradise. In addition to enjoying a leisurely stroll along the main street, of course, you can't come here without experiencing the hot springs. The most famous public baths in Arima are Kin-no-yu and Gin-no-yu, the “gold” and “silver” hot springs with special curative water, but there are also various themed large baths for you to enjoy.

- Miyuki Suohanako 

Japanese-style bedrock bath, open-air "golden" hot spring. Each bath has railings, so the elderly can also enter with peace of mind.

- Taikonoyu 

Covering an area of about 7,000 square meters, it is a large-scale hot spring theme park in the Arima area. Three types of carbonated hot springs allow you to enjoy a hot spring bath.

- Kin no Yu 

The hot spring is rich in iron and sodium elements, and it turns iron into a rust color when exposed to air, hence the name Kin no Yu, "golden spring".

Fee: JP¥650 for adults, JP¥340 for elementary school students. Free foot bath. Regular holidays: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month and January 1st


- Gin no Yu 

Gin no Yu is a colorless and odorless carbonated spring, which is said to have a certain curative effect on various joint diseases and muscle pain.

Regular holidays: the 1st, 3rd Tuesday and January 1st of each month

- Arima

Partnering with Arima MAPLE Hotel is a large-scale hot spring theme bath, with 6 hot spring pools and far-infrared sauna facilities with different functions. Also provides meals.

Rokko Mountain Night View (about 1.5 hours)

Rokko Mountain is located near Kobe. This mountain area is designated as the Seto Inland Sea National Park and offers breathtaking night views of Kobe. Once you reach the top, you can see Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto. In addition to the stunning night view, Rokko Mountain has several other facilities, such as the Mt. Rokko Tenrandai Observation Platform, Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, and the Garden Terrace and Greenia, which are all worth visiting. It is the largest outdoor leisure resort in the Kansai region.


Rokko Mountain Cable Car (Due to the rugged mountain road, it is easy to get motion sickness when taking the bus up the mountain. You are welcome to experience the unique Rokko Mountain Cable Car at your own expense)

Rokko Mountain Skyview Terrace

Rokko Mountain is far from the city of Kobe. The mountain area is designated as the Seto Inland Sea National Park. The observation deck on the mountain is as high as 737.5 meters above sea level. One of the "Three Best Night Views in Japan." In good weather, even the Osaka Plain and the coastline around Mt. Wakayama can be seen. (Tickets: Free)

- Recommendation: TENRAN CAFE A casual cafe enjoying the superb view of Mount Rokko, serving Western-style light meals and desserts (please take care of your own expenses)

- Although the location is excellent, the price is not expensive. Enjoy a drink and a snack or some ice cream! As the sun slowly sets, the city's night lights gradually turn on. The process is quiet and beautiful. In addition, at night You can also drink and enjoy the $10 million night view! Music and art events are also held from time to time.

Shinsaibashi

One of the most famous shopping streets in Osaka, there are large department stores, chain drugstores, well-known brand stores and small street shops.
