It is very recommended that you buy the tickets in advance, besides avoiding the long queue, it also saves your time, moreover, sometimes it would also be a lot cheaper to buy it online, rather than buying it on-site. 

The KLIA Ekspres usually operates daily with trains departing every 15 to 20 minutes, but it is still much preferable to check the time ahead of time to save as much as possible. Please be reminded there will be some security checks at the station, so if you would like to enjoy a stress-free trip, you might want to arrive at the station 20 minutes ahead. 

Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that passengers are only allowed to carry a maximum of three pieces of personal luggage on trains with no additional cost.
