This full-day tour is inspired by King Anawarhta, the founder of the Bagan Dynasty and also a magical hero in local legendary stories. The tale says he was once given a replica of the holy canine tooth of Lord Buddha, which he has put on his white elephant that he set free. The elephant is said to have rested at four places, namely the Tu Yin Taung, Shwezigon, Lawka Nandar, and Tant Kyi Taung Pagodas. Visit the stupas that King Anawarhta built and also make a wish at each of the resting places.
