Be aware the majority of time in this tour is on transportation. Departure from Chiang Mai, after 1 hour reached hot spring for 20 mins break then another 90 mins to White temple. Lunch was decent Thai buffet but no AC. On the way back from Golden Triangle it took 4 hours. Driver did his best to drive. We arrived back our hotel at 7.20pm.

The trip is far, the time is mainly for driving, but the scenery in the golden triangle is very peaceful. The temples in Chiang Rai are very beautiful and majestic.
