1. Go white water rafting in Kuala Kubu Bharu.

3. Hike to the top of Bukit Tabur

However, some trails can be challenging, especially by rocks, roots, and soil conditions. For beginners and tourists, you will be guided by a guide to reach the top of Bukit Tabur. 4. Go birdwatching at the Kuala Selangor Nature Park.

5. Go kayaking in Sungai Congkak.

We also recommend kayaking in Sungai Congkak. Congkak River is a recreational forest located in Hulu Langat, Selangor. Some activities and facilities available are camping, picnics, BBQ, rafting, and cold water baths.

The entrance ticket price is around RM 50 to RM 100 per person. It will be cheap if you come in with 5 to 10 people. In addition, there is a relaxing gazebo and shower room.

6. Visit the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens.

Another recommended activity is to visit the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens. It is Malaysia's most extensive botanical garden in the northern part of Precinct 1. The park is also a paradise for nature lovers. You can picnic, jog, and cycle here.

The park is divided into three areas: the first area is filled with flowers, the ornamental plant area, and the preservation and research area. In addition, there are also five landmarks in this park, namely floral gardens, explorer's trail, sun garden, lakeside, and palm hill. Around the park, there are souvenir shops, bicycle rentals, and seafood restaurants.

7. Go camping at the Kuala Langat District Forest Reserve.

You can also camp at the Kuala Langat District Forest Reserve. This forest has existed since 1927 to protect nature, flora, and fauna. This place is also used as the lungs of the city of Selangor to absorb carbon and reduce the impact of climate change.

However, the forest is also open to the public – to simply appreciate nature, picnics, or camping. You only need to pay for parking around RM 2 to RM 5. You can bring your equipment or rent from a rental place not far from the camping location.

8. Go fishing at the Hulu Langat Fishing Resort.

To be calmer and more refreshed, come to Hulu Langat Fishing Resort. This is the best place to fish in Selangor. There is a fairly large fishing pond surrounded by various comfortable accommodations for you to stay. Nonetheless, it's perfect for families and kids. Make sure you bring fishing gear, or you can rent tools at shops around this place.

9. Visit the Farm In The City.

Open hours: 9 am-6 pm daily

The other activity you can do is visit the Farm in The City. This is one of the places of conservation of flora and fauna – especially for fauna. Various species of animals are located here, ranging from Africa, Asia, North America, and South America.

Several highly protected animals are here: Alpaca, Ring-tailed Lemur, Blue & Gold Macaw, alligator snapping turtle, and Aldabra tortoise. You will pay around RM 32 for senior citizens and children and RM 39 for adults.

10. Go glamping at A Little Farm On The Hill.

Invite your family and friends to glamping at A Little Farm on The Hill. You can do many activities here, such as bonfires, picnics, hiking, and taking aesthetic photos. You can also take cooking classes – usually organized by tour providers and local management. You only need to pay around RM 50 to RM 100, including access to anywhere in A Little Farm on the Hill. Usually, residents also choose this place to do a photo shoot.

11. Take a day trip to the Cameron Highlands.

Cameron Highlands is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Malaysia. This is a plateau located in the Pahang district. You can picnic and camp with your family here as well. In the vicinity, there are restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. You can use the land route by car or bus to get to Cameron Highlands. You can go through Tapah, Simpang Pulai, Sungai Koyan, or the Musang Cave area. For a day trip to Cameron Highland, you will spend around RM 100 to RM 300.

12. Visit the Genting Highlands.

13. Go to the Batu Caves.

Another alternative is to use commuter KTM trains.

14. Take a stroll along the Kuala Lumpur City Centre waterfront.

When visiting Kuala Lumpur, you can enjoy the nightlife or relax at the Kuala Lumpur City Center waterfront. This waterfront is usually crowded at night by residents and tourists. 15. Visit the Selayang Night Safari.
