The Emirates Economy Class is available in Airbus A380 and Boeing 777. Both aircrafts provide free WiFi and in-seat power, so that passengers can stay connected during the flight. The Emirates Economy Class is also equipped with in-flight entertainment featuring more than 2,500 channels of movies, TV series, music, and games. Emirates provides in-flight meals for all passengers in Economy Class. Inspired from the countries it stops by, Emirates offers a variety of menu filled with global flavors. Passengers can pair their meals with a glass of wine or choose from a range of complimentary beers, spirits, or other beverages. Additionally, Emirates also serves special menus for passengers with specific dietary restrictions, and special kids menu to whet the children’s appetite.
At 78 inches long (around 198 cm), the design of the flight seats in the Emirates Business Class was inspired by the interior of a modern sports car. When it is time to rest, passengers can recline their seat into a fully flat 180-degree position and drift off to sleep while staying connected, thanks to the free WiFi connection. Every seat is equipped with a personal mini-bar and in-seat power, not to mention the 23-inch entertainment screen. There is even an HDMI port to stream content from the passengers’ personal devices directly onto the screen. Moreover, Business Class passengers traveling on an overnight long-haul flight will also receive a complimentary kit bag featuring Bulgari’s new signature fragrance and skincare essentials.
Prior to departure, Emirates will serve a beverage to each passenger in the Business Class. Then, the passengers can choose from Emirates’s menu of regionally inspired gourmet dishes and enjoy a premium dining experience. Emirates’s chefs always use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to prepare every course. Meals are served on Royal Doulton bone China plates with exclusive Robert Welch cutlery, with new menus updated every month.
First Class passengers traveling on an overnight long-haul flight will receive a complimentary kit featuring Bulgari perfume and skincare essentials. The First Class passengers will also receive a set of pajamas along with matching slippers, an eye mask, and a felt pouch, so that the passengers can take them home. The First Class passengers can slide the privacy doors closed and unwind in their own world, while reclining their seat into a fully flat bed with a mattress and drift off into a restful sleep, or enjoy the inflight entertainment through a 55-inch LCD TV screen.
First Class meals are served on a Royal Doulton bone China plate with exclusive Robert Welch cutlery. Passengers can enjoy their meal with a fine wine selected by Emirates’s sommeliers or with a selection of complimentary cocktails, champagne, beers, spirits, and hot and cold drinks. Emirates’ chefs are also ready to accommodate First Class passengers with specific dietary restrictions.
Emirates offers a frequent flyer program called Emirates Skywards. There are two types of Miles in the Emirates Skywards program. First is Tier Miles, which can be collected only when passengers fly with Emirates. Second is Skywards Miles, which can be earned through flights, promotions, and partner offers. The Skywards Miles are calculated using four basic inputs, which are route, fare type, class, and tier. Passengers can redeem their Skywards Miles for various rewards. One of them is Classic Rewards, which allows people to use their Skywards Miles to book flights to any destinations across the Emirates network in any class.
Passengers can enjoy the Emirates experience even before their flight in Emirates’s airport lounges around the world. These lounges are available for First Class or Business Class passengers, or for Emirates Skywards Platinum or Gold members traveling in Economy Class. There are more than 30 Emirates airport lounges in 32 cities around the world. Here, passengers can relax by enjoying a wide range of foods, drinks, and entertainment while waiting for their flights.
Emirates provides a complimentary Chauffeur-drive service for its First Class and Business Class passengers. With this service, Emirates can pick up passengers right from their doorstep or take them to their final destination when they land. The Chauffeur-drive service is available in more than 70 cities worldwide. To use this service, passengers just need book it online in advance through the Emirates official website.

The Emirates flight attendants uniform is a unique one. Every flight attendant wears a beige-colored blazer and a red pillbox hat with an attached white scarf slung around the flight attendant’s neck. The beige color represents Dubai, the red color represents passion, and the white scarf and its seven pleats represents the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates.
