Help Center - Flights

I’m already at the airport and the airline changed my flight, what should I do?

Schedule changes or flight cancellations by the airline can happen at any time before your departure date, and we understand that this can be very frustrating. But don’t worry—there are steps you can take to manage the situation.

  1. Visit the airline’s counter at the airport for confirmation

Once you arrive at the airport, you can go to the counter of the airline you're flying with to ask for clarification about your flight changes. The airline staff will be happy to assist you.

  1. Submit a refund request through Traveloka

If the flight changes no longer align with your plans, you can submit a refund request via Traveloka. When submitting your request, make sure to select the refund reason "Cancelled by Airline" or "Rescheduled by Airline" depending on your situation. This will help ensure your refund is processed in line with the appropriate procedure.

If the change is classified by the airline as a significant change, you may be eligible for a Special Recovery Policy, under which the airline is required to provide compensation such as a free reschedule or a full refund.

Please make sure to keep proof of your flight change information, as it will be required when submitting your refund request via Traveloka.

If you have a booking with a flight that has been changed by the airline and would like to request a refund, please open the Bookings menu via Traveloka app or website, and select the flight that you want to refund there.
