The room is located directly opposite to the waste room, there is a constant reflux of trash smell into the room. We requested to have our room changed and the first staff was very rude to us and offered no help. We then requested a room change on the next day and we were treated poorly by a sudden knock on the door. Ended up nothing was done and we had to go to bed with the constant trash smell in the room. Never coming back and I do not recommend this hotel at all. Poor service, limited amenities and dirty room.

We like the location and the building itself is good. Couple things that could be better is the air conditioning. AC is weak. We have stayed here before and it was the same. But most disappointing was in an 8 night stay we never had the room serviced. There was a “mid stay” clean and all housekeeping did was take out the trash and switch the towels. We found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We had a lower floor apartment (on request) which was well appointed and spotless. Having a laundry option was important to us as we were staying for 7 days over Christmas. The pool facilities were also an incentive for booking. The food options in the area were fantastic for both breakfasts and dinners. We used First Parking, 558 Little Bourke Street and paid for 7 days. Unlimited entry/exit. Only a few mins walk to Aspire. We would highly recommend and would use again on a future visit to Melbourne.
