Discovery Parks - Port Augusta

Clean park, very secure, lovely room and great facilities

We had a pet friendly cabin, quite old, but OK. The shower was a problem, as the water could not be contained in the cubicle, so flooded the bathroom. When we pulled back the sheets on the bed, there were hairs in the bed!! Probably wouldn’t recommend this to my friends.

The “donga” style Accommodation was suitable for a one night stay for a single traveller

Great place and secure

The staff were friendly. The shared amenities were in good condition and in good order. Unfortunately the floor in our room was dirty and I found hair in some dried stuck on debris on the floor. I did speak to reception who said they would get it sorted but it never got sorted. The bed was comfy and clean and the bathroom pristine. The tv wasn’t working and nor was the swing function on the air con but we did report this on check out.

Late check in.. good info left for us. Room too small for suitcases to go into it. Room not very clean..lots of fluff and dust. Bathroom a good size. Very noisy..truck changing tyre outside our room at 5am!!

Stay here often and enjoy the convenience and ease of late check ins etc - however this room was really filthy… to the point we had to rebath our baby after crawling on the floor. Floors were dirty and sticky.

Great fast check in and very helpful staff. Great room with kichen and seperate bedroom was a bonus.

Staff not friendly at desk. No room to get out of bed one side. Barbed wire around fence.

Really enjoyed our stay in the Discovery Park Pt.Augusta. We stayed in a three bed cabin , dog friendly cabin twice on our journey from Adelaide to Darwin and back. Would recommend to anyone with a pet and travelling.

Loved our cosy cabin had a great sleep comfy bed and quiet where we were situated

There was a seperate area for pets. The motel rooms, although quite dated, were very comfortable and had everything that was needed.

It was great for a family

Quiet good for the price we paid and recommend this to anyone in the area looking to stay somewhere on their trip.

Love this property, friendly staff on arrival, pleasant, clean self-contained rooms with a quiet, safe friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend this site.

Clean, good facilities, wifi kept dropping out

Although the room was small and more like a motel room than a cabin, it was very well appointed and very clean.
