DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge

The staff were always lovely and the room was neat. The location was great and parking in Roe St car park turned out to be fine, with no onsite parking being my main worry before I arrived. Some small annoyances with the shower not having any shelving for products, and being quite dark unless I wanted the window blind into the bedroom open (that was weird, why is there a window into the bedroom??). Although the walk in wardrobe with access from both sides was quite useful. The TV was almost impossible to use due to no screen sharing capabilities with phones, or active TV guide for the available channels. Sometimes, all you wanna do after a long day of exploring is zone out you know? The buffet breakfast was pretty standard. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst! 3.5/5. The room service menu wasn’t correct, as it noted fries available, however, there was no option for this when ordering via the QR code they recommend. Overall, served our purposes, but I wouldn’t say I was blown away.

Beautiful room , helpful staff and amazing breakfast

Very nice bar in lobby for a drink after check in and nicely furnished rooms. Breakfast was very nice also. We will be back.

Great location in Perth CBD, shops, eateries and all amenities are just a short stroll away. Hotel was clean, staff welcoming, breakfast options same every morning but quality was decent enough

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the breakfast was terrible. There was hardly any food left, one staff member in the kitchen. No English breakfast tea anywhere in the hotel. Room was good and check in staff were really lovely. We also went into the bar for a cocktail before heading out and the music stopped playing, it took about 15 mins for the music to come back on.

Overall the hotel was ok. I just chose wrong location- it was noisy outside with loud music and people fighting on the street etc. I know this is no way hotels fault!

Comfortable room right near the centre.

The room was clean and situated overlooking the city which was lovely. My only discrepancy was the bathroom felt is was for a disabled person, not that there’s a problem with that, it just didn’t suit us for a romantic getaway.

Pretty accommodating staff. My room gets clean everyday and towels get change so it was a very good experience

I booked and received confirmation for two rooms, but on the morning of check-in the hotel app showed only one. Staff initially insisted there was only one booking and told me to contact Hotels.com myself. After a lot of effort, another staff member finally confirmed both rooms. Very frustrating experience and disappointing service.

Room service menu was limited, no tea or expresso coffee available via room service. Pool bar closes at 6pm which seems early for a rooftop bar. Breakfast options are limited, would have liked to see pancakes or waffles. Some basics missing like toothbrush. No area to heat food.

Clean and modern, the bed and pillows were great! It’s in the thick of the night life area so there was a little street noise but that is to be expected. The staff were great, super friendly and the welcome cookies were delicious.
