Amazing hosts that are locals and have all the info you could need about where to go and what to do/see. Honest, friendly and helpful -you can’t fault them.
Comfy, cosy and clean rooms that are a great mix of quirky-luxe. The beds are incredibly comfy and the rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Great location, nice and close to everything and easy to find. We can’t wait to stay again.

Excellent location, comfortable beds and good shower - fine for a one night stay very close to the beach. Kitchenette not well equipped with cups etc. There were 4 of us and we took turns using the one cup!

The room was extremely cold. Air con heater didn’t work. Shower was the most non eco friendly one in the history of showers. Parking was an extra fee on top of the room and the lady at the front desk was most impolite and unhelpful during check in and check out.

Despite booking it as it advertised free parking, I was told upon arrival that there was none and I would have to risk leaving my car on the street which was 2P till 10pm.
The lady who checked me in seemed to be quite put out by my arrival, and quite unpleasant.
The room had broken blinds with many missing

Some maintenance needed to be done to the room I stayed in. I was confused when at first I didn’t have running water, and then after opening all taps and waiting some time finally the water came through.
Location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach. Could just do with some modernisation, but for the one night stay where I needed a bed it did okay.

The motel is perfectly located within walking distance to the beach and Manly Corso. Parking is limited, but you can park on the street. We walked to the beach for a pre-breakfast swim.
The property is currently being renovated, but noise was not a problem. The staff were very friendly.

The place is old and shabby needs a lot of work to bring it up to expectations of guests. In fairness the new owners have only had it one month but the room we were allocated was nothing like the one shown advertised.

Absolute disgrace. Not even willing to discuss a partial discount due to Covid restriction. Blaming it is a small business. Everyone understand but do not be unethical or not truthful. Tried to tell us to phone Expedia only to have Expedia phone them while we on the phone

Room advertised was so different from the actual room, the room was dirty and tired. I was not expecting a five star room but was just hoping that it would be tidy and presentable. I have stayed to a much cheaper accommodation but still looks much cleaner. The window could not be totally closed as there is a wire running from the outside to the air conditioning unit. In short we did not stay and checked out straight away. Stayed in a different accomodation.

Property is tired, some rooms have had a refresh but bathrooms need work. The pipes don't cope and was a struggle to have a shower that wasn't scorching or freezing. Location is great and it's value for money. If you book knowing it's an older property that will have some"issues" then it's perfect.

I booked this property as it had the option to upgrade to a balcony and had free parking. The balcony was a metre squared and the park ring was limited and not available For my booking apparently. Not a first come first serve it was Never included in my room
Type! Horrible pls bathroom, could barely open a den close the front door as it was jammed. Good for a bed only.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Besides this I have nothing good to say about it. Having stayed there for 1 night I would never recommend this place
Reasons:
As reception closes early I would encourage whoever want to take the risk and stay here to thouroghly give your room the one over before heading out.
Coming back to the room at 12.00 I was greeted to a room of 8 cockroaches, and heaps of mosquitoes. (If this is a known isssues I feel like complimentary insect spray should be provided.) Secondly to stop more mosquitoes coming in I tried to close the windows however one of the windows is broken and has no handle so it can’t be closed, so I was forced the deal with the mosquitoes situation.
There clearly was a major mould issue in the bathroom, that someone has tired to clean but has done an awful job because more mould is growing on the ceiling, wall, door and shower curtain.
The room was not cleaned properly before my stay, rubbish under the bed was evident, and further viewing under the bed was covered with dead bugs and layer of dust.
The room had no air conditioner, so the provide you with a pedestal fan, this fan clearly has never been cleaned, covered in dust inside and out, at 12.30 at night I was forced to clean the whole fan before using it.
The old saying comes to mind, you get what you pay for... if you are decide to stay here and pay more than $20 for the room you are getting ripped off. 0 Stars
