The location is very convenient, close to Dara Harbor. If you want to go to Opera House, just walk, along the road that is passed and behind the hotel are cafes... crowded, comfortable & aesthetic. Finding food is easy. Public transportation everywhere there is a light rail, bus. Best Location

We stayed only one night after our cruise and have stayed here before. Loved the rooftop pool area with its great views. The room was nice but the carpet in the hallway could use some attention. The location of this hotel is perfect, easy to walk to from the cruise terminal and also access to the trains and public transportation. We will stay here again.

This hotel is all about location, convenient walking distance to cruise port, restaurants, the rocks, and circular quay. In general, the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. The lobby is impressive but the furniture is worn. The room is small as might be expected for a historic hotel but the carpet is worn and dirty. It is reasonably clean but because of age the corners are dingy. The shower is in a tub with old fashioned mixing faucets. A mini fridge and tv are provided along with a kettle and instant coffee and tea. There is a rooftop pool with a killer view, minimal furniture and no shade. The staff are professional and accommodating. Would I stay there again? Perhaps due to the convenience but if I wasn’t taking a cruise ship I’d pay more to stay elsewhere.

The location is great. Nice to have a lobby bar. The AC worked. But the carpets in the hall and in the room were patched with duct tape or not patched and the floor boards were visible. It was hard to roll a suitcase in the hall due to the wrinkles on the carpet. Roof top pool had very limited seating and the hot tub needs to be replaced as it is barely warm and the jets don’t work. None of this should be a surprise to management as is painfully obvious.

The whole hotel was neglected and very tired and looked very dirty. The room was certainly dirty, the bath had a large patch of enamel or whatever the bath was covered in missing. And also looked very stained and dirty. There was a few very bad stains on the carpet. No actual quilt cover on the bed just a quilt sandwiched between two sheets, very uncomfortable as the sheets kept falling off.

After a looong flight from Hawaii, stepping into the rooms in this hotel was very disappointing, to say the least. It hadn’t had an update or any TLC in ages and ages. I had to search for outlets (scarce here). It felt gloomy and old. Upside, the expensive breakfast buffet was fairly ok.
