We loved this hotel! The views of the mountain foothills were lovely. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were so very nice. This hotel is a short drive to Fussen and the castles but it felt calm and relaxed, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist city.

Great hotel and staff. Even with a late arrival, we were greeted with an envelope on the front door when we arrived that included a welcome message and our room key. We had a great breakfast the next morning. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in the future.

This was a lovely small hotel. The staff were very helpful, including instructions if we arrived after the front desk was closed, and a very good recommendation for a restaurant for dinner. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good. Our room was clean and warm. Very nice for our short stay in Austria.

The hotel room was good, just rather small. Our room overlooked the road. The view was amazing. Lots of road noise for most of the night. The room was clean, but had a old smell; maybe from carpet.
The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. It was full of many choices. Meats, eggs, fruit, veggies, yogurt, toppings for yogurt, bread and more. It also had a delicious beverage area.
The sauna area was nice with plenty of towels and a area to shower off and chairs for relaxing. Make sure to request sauna as they have to turn it on 30 minutes before you can use it.

The room was really nice, but make sure you have drinks and such. There is a vending machine but it dies not have everything. We arrived late and the staff was nice enough t wait for us. They typically do not staff reception 24/7, because it is more of bed and breakfast.
The roomwas nice and had lots of windows.its nice to letthe cool air in at night or diring the day. Very comfortable bed as well. We missed breakfast due to our early depature for the castles.
There is a small restaurant 200 meters away that has good austrian/german food and some italian. They make their own cheese even.
The spaghetti bolognese, kase spaetzle, and wiener schnitzel were excellent. Its a really cute town.
My group asked about the chances of getting Schloss Neuschwanstein tickets and were told we would not get tickets. Do not believe that. The ticket office opens at 7:30, we got in line at 7:35 and had tickets for Neuschwannstein at 10:25 and Hochenschwanau for 12:45 so it is possible.
