There are so many things to love about this hotel. From the moment we walked in, the place looked elegant. We were given a bright and spacious and quiet room. The beds were very comfortable. Our first evening we enjoyed drinks at the bar. Perhaps our favorite part of the stay were the amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend.

This is a well-known chain hotel by well-known operator, but the staff was quite hospitable in a manner more compatible with a boutique hotel. The rooms were exactly what you would expect in a hotel like this. The breakfast area was expansive and with an American style buffet with any kind of breakfast food you would want or expect. One of the things I really liked about this hotel was that it is located right across the street from the entrance to the Stadtpark. This also includes the metro stop by the same name which can whisk you to all parts of the city. In other words, it is a great location in central Vienna.

The hotel is conveniently located, but the facilities are extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Everything in the room showed noticeable wear and did not meet the standards expected of a 5-star hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the mattress was badly sagging, with two deep indentations even when no one was lying on it. The low ceiling and poor sound insulation made it easy to hear people talking and walking nearby, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. The staff also appeared disengaged and rarely acknowledged guests with even a basic greeting. Overall, I regret booking this hotel based largely on its name and reputation.
