Neue Post Apartments

This hotel exceeded my expectations by far for the price. Very nicely renovated common areas, large, beautiful rooms, nice pool, good breakfast.

Lovely hotel in good location. Friendly staff. Our room had just been refurbished but needed Aircon.

The hotel has great facilities and is excellently located. Also very friendly staff. Our issue was a lack of AC and fans, which meant the rooms and reception areas were all uncomfortably hot (we were visiting during 25-30 degrees celsius temperatures in August). The place felt like a heat trap. It meant one of the key elements of a hotel (sleep) was not achievable.

Not much for the money but you’re paying for location I guess.

We had a great family stay in Zell am See. Beautiful town with beautiful surroundings. We had a very pleasant stay in our apartment at the hotel. It was clean and the staff were great. Had a nice swimming pool and excellent spa facilities. We had breakfast one morning. It was okay. The toiletries provided could be improved.

Lovely hotel/apartment. We were in one of older apartments. The decor was traditional ski chalet style and very clean and spacious. Perfect for our family of four. Staff were all very polite and friendly and there is an excellent bar area for chilling out after a day on the slopes. The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from the City Xpress gondola which was brilliant. The kids loved having the pool for a swim early evening, and spa area is lovely and spacious for all.

I enjoyed my four-night stay! The hotel itself is centrally located in beautiful Zell am See (about 300 meters from the train station, about 300 meters from the ski gondola), so everything is walkable. The breakfast was nice; the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly; the WiFi worked extremely well. I would gladly stay there again!

Reception staff was extremely helpful in guiding us toward things to do and see in the area.

Hotel itself was in an ideal location. The room was a bit cramped but had all the necessary facilities. Brilliant spa with everything you’d want. Most of the staff were lovely and accommodating.

Front desk person was extremely helpful!

Hassle free stay. Wonderful location. Highly recommended for closeness to the lake.

A good hotel with a very helpful staff, but unfortunately located in a very noisy part of the town.

The apartment was of a good size with 1 separate double bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchen dining room lounge with a double sofa bed and plenty of storage. The hotel is flexible and you can book room only, bed & breakfast or half board and even mix it up if you like. We ate breakfast and evening meals once during our 7 night stay and found the food and service to be very good but we don't like to be tied down to set eating times so we ate in other restaurants and bars located in the town. The bar in the hotel was very nice with plenty of comfortable sofa's and reasonable drink prices. The spa and swimming pool were of a very high quality. Your ski equipment can be stored securely in the hotels ski locker room that is nice and warm just like every other area of the hotel. The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of the City Express, bus station and the train station. There are plenty of shops, mini markets, restaurants and bars around, there is even an ice skating rink and indoor swimming pool just 10 mins walk away. We took a day off from skiing and went into Salzburg on the train on Christmas Eve Day, the train takes about 1 hour 40 mins at a cost of €12 pp return, the hotel has maps of the city and can offer advice on places to visit & bars with views of the city that you can relax in. This is our second visit to Zell am See and we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Nice hotel

The hotel is well located in the town centre. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and dark, though.

The hotel is well maintained and clean. We found the hotel staff to be very helpful too. The SPA was definitely an added benefit.

Stayed here in May. It was pretty good then. Not so much now. WIFI only in lobby now and it barely worked there. Spa area mostly down for repair. Massive construction noise and vibration starting at 7am. Whole room was shaking.Fridges removed from the rooms.

Almost all of the hotels in town were closed for May 1 including the surrounding restaurants. Not a bad place. Parking garage was difficult to find. Spa area was nice, but everything was shut off my second day.
