ibis budget Blankenberge

J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans cet hôtel ainsi qu'au Mercure qui y est jumelé et je les recommande tous les 2. Localisation ultra centrale au pied de la gare et à 2mn de marche de la plage. Pour l'ibis la réception se fait via l'accueil du Mercure à quelques mètres lorsque l'accueil est fermé à l'ibis.

Very clean, very good location. Beds were comfortable and room ideal for short stay. Free WiFi very intermittent. Would cut out often, and after a very short while. Had to hotspot the entire time. No on site parking so forced to use local. Very expensive, €30 per night. Found a cheaper one 10 min walk away, £10 per night. Overall a nice place, would return

CLEAN-CENTRAL

Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour cet établissement où je séjourne souvent. Chambres très propres, chaleureuses et fonctionnelles. Situation idéale (tout est accessible à pied). Accueil très agréable.

Perfectly positioned as part of station complex (alongside the Mercury) and an easy if fairly lengthy walk down to the seaside (which itself is somewhat spoiled by being lined with block after block of ugly apartments - Knokke is more attractive in this respect), the hotel provides a good value and comfortable stay. As with most budget chains, the room was functional rather than attractive with not even a local photo to provide a splash of colour or interest. It was however clean and tidy and well-maintained with a good shower. The breakfast selection was good too, providing an ample start to the day

The Budget Ibis doesn't always have any Receptionists available, so had to check-in at Mercure next-door. The door code stopped working next day. I had to get a new code from the Mercure every day! Which was very inconvenient- having to exit my hotel and walk around the corner to the next hotel. It also made me feel insecure at night, thinking no staff on duty! One night the fire alarm went off at 3am, all guests evacuated outside without any organisation, and it seemed like no one could reset the alarm. We couldn't return until 3.45am. The room itself was quite clean, except for some paw prints on wall below the window. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature. I didn't realise that tea-making facilities NOT included! The TV was quite large, but the bed was at right angle to the headboard?

Check in was a bit confusing. I'd checked in online in advance but didn't receive details of how to get into the hotel. Had to enquire at adjacent Mercure hotel and they were able to give access to the Ibis hotel. Not a major problem but could be clearer.

A nice chilled out and well located hotel in one of my favourite Belgian coastal towns

Quarto fedido, cheirando a cigarro, cheiro empregando em tudo. Não vale o elevadíssimo valor cobrado da diária, hotel de quinta categoria.

Our stay at Ibis Budget Blankenberge was not good. We arrived around 9pm and there was no one at the desk to check us in. We had to go outside to the neighbouring Mercure Hotel to checkin, which was a bit odd. The room was very basic and the sheets weren’t even made up on the bed. We were also evacuated from our room after midnight due to someone smoking in there room, setting off the fire alarm. The best part about the stay was the proximity to the train station which is less than a 2 minute walk from the front door of the hotel. I would only recommend this place for a lower cost option with good transport to Bruges, the stay itself was below average.

There is no hair dryer available, very small room that no space to open the luggage

My 3d stay in this property and not the last! Super value for money, small rooms but well equiped and warm atmosphere. Welcoming staff, perfect central location.

Top séjour ! Ce week-end le check-in se faisait au Mercure à qqes mètres, où Stefaan et Saïd ont été très professionnels et accueillants ! Les chambres de cet ibis Budget sont agréables et très bien pensées. Super localisation walking distance de tout (gare, commerces, plage)...

The property was great for the money. Very convenient, clean and the staff friendly. The hall carpets have seen better days lots of paint spillage on our floor. Floor 2

My second stay there and not the last! Super location, everything walkable (beach, shops, restaurants, train station...) Super friendly staff, clean and convenient rooms with nice lights and bathroom. Will definitely stay there again!

Het hotel is niet meer wat het was… een pak duurder geworden maar de service sterk verminderd. Inchecken moet gebeuren in hotel Mercure, er is niemand aan de balie. De lakens roken zeer onfris, wat slapen niet aangenaam maakt. Veel stof onder het bed! Het ontbijt is absoluut niet covid safe!! Veel te veel volk in een veel te kleine ruimte!!! Iedereen neemt alles met de handen aan het buffet want er ligt maar 1 grijptang. Teleurstellende ervaring, ben beter gewend van Ibis!

Good stay for the price. I do not recommend breakfast during COVID period : small box with very restrictive choice.

The hotel and room were more than OK; the location was very good and close to shops and the beach. The only negative point was the fact that you could get only 1 small sandwich for breakfast; I asked for a second one, but did not get it. Very strange.

Very helpful staff; good location next to rail/tram/bus/taxi interchange; rooms very clean and comfortable; corridors not quite so clean and smart; very good value; double bed against wall would be nuisance for a couple who need to get up to go to the loo in the night, climbing over each other.
