Great staff who are very helpful and friendly! The front desk was wonderful and checked on a few things for us. The neighborhood is also excellent. However, the overall hotel could use a major upgrade. While the room offers tea, coffee, shampoo, and body wash, all of the cups were dirty and the bottle caps were broken. Additionally, one of the elevators wasn't working. These are definitely areas the hotel could improve upon. The bar are floor were all dirty and didn't feel welcoming.

The bedroom was great , lovely decor & a very comfortable bed BUT the bathroom was clearly in need of a major refurbishment - it was extremely dated and in poor condition - the shower attachment was in the bath but the tiled side of the bath was so high that I could not get in to have a shower. There were 2 sinks but one only had a dribble of water coming out. The finish on the tiling around the sinks and the boarding behind the toilet seat were clearly suffering from wear and tear. I mentioned this to a receptionist at the end of our 2 night stay who apologised & said the rooms in the hotel are being refurbished working down from the top floors - we were on floor 1. I think the stark contrast between the bedroom & the bathroom should have been mentioned at the start of our stay &, possibly, the hotel should slightly reduce the rates of such rooms that are not yet refurbished. Also, only one of the two lifts were working so there was a lot of time spent waiting for the lift - sometimes because cleaning staff were using it. I mentioned this at reception & the young man said it had been out of order for some time & they were having difficulty getting it fixed. Other than these issues, staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent & we also enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the restaurant.

The room was spacious and clean, it was a little old but wasn’t too bad. The only disappointment was the sauna. I booked this hotel specifically because the description stated it had a sauna. It did indeed, but it was like an additional thought for an empty space. It wasn’t in the locker room in the gym, but it was in a separate room with no blind from the passing people in the hotel, nor proper chair, or shower room. So it did have a sauna but that was a big disappointment. Other than that hotel is in a nicer area and convenient enough to get around. If you don’t care for the sauna it’s a great choice.

Our water bottles were rarely replaced, the beds were only lightly made, and the fresh towels were left carelessly on the couch. I left tips to show appreciation before leaving the rooms, but returned feeling disappointed. We also had connecting rooms, and the experience was the same in both.”

The hotel is in a good location; however, the room condition and bathroom were only average and did not meet expectations. During my stay, the TV stand fell and injured my leg. Although I reported the incident, it was not replaced, and no compensation or apology was offered. Additionally, there was no digital entertainment available in the room during our stay, which was disappointing, especially for the children. The room was advertised as family-friendly, but in reality, it lacked the facilities and comfort expected for a family stay. Considering the price paid, the overall value was poor. While the location is a positive aspect, the room quality, maintenance issues, lack of entertainment, and poor customer service made this a very disappointing experience overall.
