Good hotel, I recommend it.

It was a clean room but for some reason the room smelt like smoke even though I booked a non smoking room. Sheets were clean etc but noticed holes in our sheets. Staff was really kind and accommodated a late check out.

This small hotel suited my needs perfectly. I was in Toronto for a 3-day course so I wasn't looking for anything extravagant nor did I want to spend too much money. The room was the right size for me as a solo traveler. The room was clean. The shower was lovely as it had a standard shower head plus a rainfall shower head. That felt decadent. The room also had a small bar fridge and a microwave which made it easier for me to save money as I could bring some leftover food and reheat it. They had complimentary juice, coffee and granola bars and cookies every morning. It is also very conveniently located right across the street from Sherway Gardens Mall. I would absolutely stay here again if the need arises.

Let there be no mistake, this is a two-star accommodation. Be careful not to make the same mistake we did by booking the Stay Inn Express instead of the Stay Inn Hotel down the street. Once we realized the error, we asked if our reservation could be transferred to their sister hotel. The front desk attendant was very pleasant and truly did his best to help, but unfortunately the other property would not accept the change. Because our booking was prepaid, cancelling and rebooking wasn’t a realistic option, leaving us dependent on the company’s willingness to make an exception, which they chose not to do. From what we overheard, it seemed low occupancy at the Express location may have influenced that decision. We were initially hesitant about staying, however, the attendant kindly allowed us to inspect the room and bed beforehand. Given some previous reviews mentioning cleanliness concerns, we were cautious, but the room was actually very clean. The mattress was comfortable, though the oversized pillows did impact sleep quality. There’s no real complimentary hot breakfast as listed in the amenities, but fortunately there’s a Tim Hortons right next door. Overall, acceptable for a short stay if expectations are set appropriately, with a positive note for the helpful and courteous service at the front desk.

We booked this hotel based on location and available breakfast. We arrived after a day of travel. We checked in to room 121 which is accessed directly from the parking lot. The room was newly renovated and very clean and spacious. We quickly discovered that the heat did not work. 20 min in, I tried calling front desk to advise of the issue but the telephone didn’t appear to work. I walked back to the lobby to notify front desk. The front desk agent followed me to my room to check on heater. He played with buttons and told us to give it one hour an if it didn’t heat up, he would give us something better. Keep in mind, we had been sitting 20 min in a cold room. We were exhausted and it was near 10pm by now. We waited another 30 min and we returned with our luggage packed in car. I was provided with a card to check another room. This new one had plenty of heat so we accepted the change but it was not a better room as previously indicated. It was a smaller room with a very small window. Not a big deal. We were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. In morning, there was no breakfast. What the hotel provided was complimentary coffee, juice, granola bars and biscotti that were in the jar the previous night. Tim Hortons is next door. But don’t rent this hotel thinking you are paying a little extra for a breakfast you would be served at other chains in the same price range. Cleanliness was on par and so was all the staff. But I will not be staying here again.

Perfect for a quick in & out...

I've stayed at this property before - it gets the job done at a very reasonable price. Includes parking, and the location is conveniently located near the major highways and TTC bus routes that can take you to the subway system or to the GO station nearby.

It was clean and the staff were super friendly

Good parking. We accidently broke a small nondescript glass. They charged $25 for that a bit OTT

If you just need a bare bones place to sleep this could work. Bed was comfortable and very clean. Bathroom adequate attention to cleaning the grout would help.

Staff are good. I booked one king size bed room. It was on the lower level and next to the parking space. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe. Would be better to ask customer if it’s okay the room will be in lower level. Then customer will decide. I would not mind paying extra and to feel safe.

Air conditioning worked well. It was like Antarctica in there. Really helped the sleep! Pretty cool that it had a microwave too. Lots of popcorn was enjoyed.
