If you’re expecting the Ritz, don’t stay here. But everytime we’ve stayed we’ve been thankful for the quality of room for our family, for the price we paid. Family room was spacious! Tv had shows my kids could safely watch. Fridge was all we needed. Microwave, table, desk. Room was clean, towels and bedding clean and nicely laid out. We love the charm of the Old Cos.

Ivy, the Manager, was very welcoming to me! The room that she offered me was clean, modern, and had everything I like, including the price. It has become a favorite hotel for me in Blairmore.

Room was fine, not overly clean. Bed was super spring and noisy, made for a bad sleep. Tavern and restaurant were both “temporarily closed” which sucked because that’s the main reason we booked here. Should update the website. Wouldn’t stay again even though it was super affordable.

The building is old & outdated, no heat in the room, no remote for tv but it was not connected to cable or antenna anyway. The bed is ancient with lots of squeaks. Ceiling light didn't work. The staff worker did his best to accommodate several travelers who needed a place to stay during traffic delays.

We did not even stay there. The building is more than a little run down and unattractive. There was not even heating in the room. They even had pipes burst in the hotel due to the cold temperatures. There only consolation was to offer some electric space heaters. That was not going to suffice considering the temperatures in the Crowsnest pass that night. Not to mention the beds were just two small rickety metal cots. How on earth do they get people to spend that kind of money on a room there. This was the singular worst hotel room introduction I have had since my back-packing through Ecuador back in the 90's. I had to check in at a different hotel. I would not let my daughter even look at the room I had almost inflicted on her. I demand to get my money back.

Absolutely filthy room, had not been cleaned, I needed to buy disinfectant wipes to wipe down bathroom surfaces. food was left in mini fridge from previous guest. Could not open window to bring in fresh air, air freshener was overwhelming, restaurant was closed with no idea when they were reopening! I had stayed here last year with a much better experience. I honestly have to say this was the worst place I have ever stayed.

No matter the cost, I expect a clean room and a bar of soap. This had neither. I have a hearty tolerance for cheap motels, but this was on another level- to where I couldn’t relax, feel safe, and rest well. The surfaces of my room were all dirty, the lamp had no bulb, there were bits of broken, unusable furniture seemingly being stored in my room. The heritage quaintness ends on the outside, as well, as it seems this hotel underwent a hasty refurb in the 70s or so, and has since been left to languish. I’d warn you to find somewhere else to stay.

A very old building but the rooms are clean, beds are comfy. A good hotel for the price. It was just a last night pit stop before we headed back home and it worked well for 3 of us in the family room.
