Element Vaughan Southwest

This hotel seems to be a favorite for kids' sports team, which wouldn't be a problem if parents actually parented, or if security enforced hotel rules, especially at night. As it is, expect to be inconvenienced late at night by kids running and yelling in the corridors, and to be woken up middle of the night by rowdy parents who don't realize or don't care they are not alone in the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Element Vaughan Southwest and found the hotel to be perfect in almost every way. The rooms are modern and well-equipped, and the location is incredibly convenient. However, I did find the mattresses to be a bit too soft for my liking. Overall, a fantastic stay with just one small area for improvement

Clean rooms and close to restaurants

Very smooth and professional space. Very down to earth and likeable staff. The pancake sauce was exactly where it should be.

We truly could not have been happier with this hotel! The staff were helpful, funny and incredibly welcoming. The hotel was immaculately clean and well staffed. Not only was our suite huge, it was so thoughtfully curated. Close to restaurants and shopping. Their continental breakfast was truly the best I’ve ever seen! My teen son who never eats breakfast had it both mornings. The pool area was clean and bright. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We travel 2x per month for our sports team schedule and I really hope we can visit again. Please keep up the great work folks!!!

Nice property

The Element Hotel was a good stay overall. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast every morning was fantastic however, the time frame wasn't great. They stop serving at 930 during the week and at 10 during the weekend. We felt rushed for breakfast every morning of our 6-day trip. Also, I want to mention the TVs in the room (we had two) did not work properly. Half the time, we couldn't use them. Also, we checked behind the mattress before leaving to ensure we did not leave anything behind, and it was evident that the staff did not clean this area. it was dirty, and a condom wrapper was left there. We liked this hotel but as the days went on it did lose points. However, I want to emphasize again how lovely the staff are. Very warm, and inviting and seemed happy to be there.

First time staying here. Won't be the last.

Breakfast options were very good. Staff at front desk were very pleasant. Lots of food options at walking distance. The Keg is right there plus many others.

Staff was very kind and always willing to help. I found it a bit pricy. Loved access to fresh drinks available during the day at the front desk. Really liked the idea of staff cooking eggs the way I preferred Monday morning. That would have been nice every morning but I realize a lot more people staying in the weekends. I would love to stay there another time.

Relaxing atmosphere, parking was tight but a lot of parking close by for there is another hotel and restaurant next door. Super clean hotel, staff were friendly, it was everything we expected.

I really enjoyed my stay at Element. A very clean, quiet and convenient hotel to stay in. I would've given 5 stars but the only part is the first day after our stay, we went down for breakfast, everything's was good until when i was kind of humiliated by one of the staff. We were 4 peoples; me, my husband and our 2 kids. We usually split tasks between us, my husband took care of the kids while i brought whatever they needed to eat. I went to take some toasts (4 slices since we were 4 people), i put the toasts in the toaster that suddenly one of the staff passed and thrown out a comment loudly "WOW! THAT'S A LOT OF TOASTS!" I was so shy and felt humiliated and i replied that we are four thats why i took 4 slices. She came back and said:" yeah, just be careful when you put a lot of tast in the toaster, it may burn." As if i never saw or made toast in that kind of toaster. That’s the only part that we didn't like. Im not sure what was her intention, whatever was the reason, it was humiliating in front of everyone. We didn't saw that staff the next days(thankfully) other than that everyone else was professionals and very helpful.

I have never given a one-star review in my life, but if I could, I would give a zero star review to both element hotel in Woodbridge and hotels.com. I had booked two nights get-away and the hotel had many children there for a hockey tournament. They were running up and down the hallways banging the doors with their pucks and parents were completely supportive of their behavior. After an hour and a half I calmly tried to ask one of the parents to request the children not to be making that much noise especially since guests were trying to relax and he went off on a tirade against me and was verbally aggressive, he was threatening in his behavior and actions and followed me to the door of my hotel room and I thought he was going to come into the hotel room or even assault me. I reported this to the management of the hotel and they said they would send somebody up, it took about a half an hour for any response. When they did send somebody up, it was not security, they did not address the abusive guest they simply moved me to another floor. I communicated to them that I felt uncomfortable, threatened, scared because I have no idea how unstable this individual would be and did not want to run into him anywhere else in the hotel, specifically breakfast or using any of the amenities such as the gym or swimming pool. I called hotels.com that same evening and told them that I would like to leave because I did not feel safe! Hotels.com did absolutely nothing for me. Very disappointing!
