Executive Hotel Le Soleil

Staff friendly. Old building done up really well in a great location. Cloise to waterfront (Coal Harbour) and shopping district (Robson and Albernie streets) - close to all downtown amenities really. Room was large, clean and comfortable. There was no bathtub, large shower only.

Cozy room, friendly staff and really enjoyed the breakfast.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice. Convenient location.

Great hotel. Restaurant on site is amazing. Rooms are big and the AC works well. Perfect location too. Will be back soon. The only thing that is somewhat negative is that im Expedia gold but i do not think i received any of fhe perks during my stay.

The room was great, housekeeping was great. The restaurant was really expensive and Uber drivers had trouble fonding it

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The room was spotless, the restaurant was delicious and above all the staff were very warm, welcoming and genuinely seemed to enjoy working here. This definitely translated to the feel of the hotel. Restaurant staff was incredible, remembered my coffee order and even a couple of times had our breakfast prepared and ready at our table for when we arrived which was so helpful when I was solo with kids. We stayed for two weeks with two little kids so I had plenty of time to get a feel for this hotel. We travel to Vancouver often and I have to say the location doesn't get any better, we will absolutely be staying here and only here for all of our subsequent trips. Because I truly believe the staff wants you to have the best stay possible, I will mention a few details I felt were overlooked...the welcome water glasses always had lipstick stains and were consistently wet around the rims from sitting upside down on the tray in the runoff from dishwashing. I used a stroller with my two kids during our stay and the wheelchair accessible button didn't work for opening the front door during our stay. Turn down service was inconsistent, which isn't something we would normally request, but our 4 year old got a real big kick out of coming back to our room and there being chocolate on her pillow. Housekeeping ran out of chocolate on day 4 or 5 and so that was a disappointment for her, it was also hit or miss whether we recieved the service.

Staff is amazing, room spotless, a real pleasure.

After check in, I was asked to wait another 10-15 minutes as the room had not yet been inspected. That was at 4PM which is check in time. There was a large noticeable stain in the rug in the living room area, wallpaper peeling back from the wall and the plug on the bathroom did not work (yes I tried reset but that didn’t work). The bathroom fan sounded industrial as is was very loud as if it was straining. All in all, it is a nice hotel for one night but I would say a 3 star and overpriced.

Staff was exceptional, wonderful clean quiet room, fantastic breakfast! Loved it all.
